Social Media

If you have a problem with social media, your actual problem is people....the social part. They way you see their thoughts and lives portrayed is just media....it's just a carrier. It's entirely neutral and without opinion or agenda. It's the people on it. This is a big problem, because the Bible warned that a time of trouble unlike the Earth had ever seen would come when people reconnected in communication (Dan 12:4). What was disrupted at the tower of Babel has reconnected in the end time Babylon. This isn't bad, as long as you are ready for it. Right now, many are offended with the way they are feeling about the culture and they blame it on social media. That is simply not the right place to put the blame. The offense is really with people. If you are offended with people, you really want to do something about it now, because it will only get harder. A supernatural reconnection of people is happening all around you. It will not stop. This is what the great tribulatio

Growing in Knowledge

If we are really God's kids, then humility demands that we give each other some space to grow up into God. God isn't demanding we all have a perfect knowledge of Him...He is looking for us to want to grow in our knowledge of Him. Someone who says what they see about Him doesn't have to have every theological string nailed down. The fact that God is infinite means He is beyond knowing. If I could totally know Him, then He could be contained in my knowledge. God is not that knowable...thank God. It will take an eternity to get to know Him...which means heaven won't be boring. If someone writes a song or delivers a message about God and it touches the edges of who He is and moves the hearts of people to explore more of who He is, then it is a profitable song or message. Just because the theology isn't all clearly nailed down in your mind or in the mind of the majority doesn't make it anti-god, false, evil, or misleading. Falsely believing you have a lock on the rig

Peace is Being Taken ...

The Body Breaking Free

1 Corinthians 11:27Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 33Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. In the midst of the churches there is a body. We must discern it. Going to church isn't the same as being the body. Being the body is directly related to drinking the Spirit. All who drink of the Spirit are the body. 1 Corinthians 12:12For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, be

History Reveals Prophecy

History reveals the fulfillment of prophecy. John 13:19 “Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He. The point of prophecy is to increase watching and praying...to move the position of the believer closer to the Lord. A wrong application of prophecy is to nail down an opinion of HOW prophecy will be fulfilled and then watch for that thing. Approaching prophecy this way disconnects a person from a growing conversation with the One who gave the word in the first place. This happens at every level of prophecy from a personal word to the most stark and intense Biblical promises, like the Messiah being born to a virgin. All prophecy is an invitation to respond to the giver of His word. The virgin birth happened, but how it touched individual lives was determined by how people responded to the prophecy and a willingness to believe it when the prophecy became history. Right now, many are missing an opportunity to have the prophetic

Revival

We were never meant to focus on revival. We were always meant to focus on Jesus. Revival will always come in a new way. The Spirit is like the wind, and those born of it are like the wind. It's unpredictable. It never repeats. Its like fire...its always consuming and changing...dancing, even when confined to a hearth. Jesus is always the same. If I focus on His heart as He revealed it, I'll catch on fire...but what that fire will look like, how far it will spread, how hot it will burn or high it will reach....no one knows. We don't know when or where revival is coming, but we always know where Jesus is and when He wants to speak with us. Contending for revival in the current church culture has become, in many ways, contending for what man gets out of Jesus' presence. Contending to be more like Jesus is contending for what Jesus gets out of man's presence. I'm learning to contend to be obedient, yielded, patient, kind... If revival never happens, Jesus will still
