Judge a true man or woman of God by their fruit. False ones see people as their meal ticket. They use terms like "investing in people"... Investing implies an expected return, if you don't give them the return, they will hold you responsible. People who resist them they label as unworthy of their attention, a waste of time, bottom feeders, or sheeple ...Jesus loves people, even those who resisted Him. Be very careful in this hour. The fruit of a persons heart comes out of the mouth/words. What do they say about others? What do they offer you, or want to trade with you ..power for loyalty, it is the mark of the truly false. Many are afraid of the false prophets, but, be very aware, if you "receive them" because of fear...if you don't address the false in love, you will share in their reward. God wouldn't do it this way if it wasn't the best way. I don't know much, but I know one thing for sure: God is love, and mankind mostly does not understand love. For love, God doesn't violate free will...He has a brilliant plan to get as many to choose love as possible before it's too late. The final expression of love...the grand finale... The complete revelation of the Man's heart who is love, who is God... is seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. This is the very plan that will extract a great harvest from the world even as it produces a great falling away of those already proclaiming love for Jesus...but not growing in a commitment to walk out His return. As in the days of Noah, the same flood that destroyed life on the earth raised up Noah's relatively little boat...because he believed in love. He obeyed the weird command of God to build a boat on dry land. If you love Him, obey Him. Make peace with Him now, while there is time.

I'm not telling you what to do. I do feel that many believers who are tracking with the Lord are getting browbeat into feeling like they MUST vote for Trump. That is, IMO, lawless. I'm simply saying it might be wise to consider stopping telling others what to do when it is leading people to compromise on holiness to "serve" the cause of Christ. It would be refreshing if "leaders" in Jesus' body would stop letting their fear of Jesus being powerless drive them to beat others into a very narrow minded idea that Jesus can only save lives if a godless man is elected. This theology makes Jesus distant and powerless. It says "we have to compromise Jesus and all He values or else Jesus will lose"... Jesus won't lose. Jesus is a much better politician than you are giving Him credit for. Did you ever consider that maybe He is testing us? Maybe He is testing what we are willing to compromise to save our own skin? One of the great tragedies in life is wasted time. Time is one of the most undervalued commodities when you are a kid, and the older you get, you feel the weight of the value of time more and more. Time moves faster the older you get. I can remember when 6 months might as well have been 6 years, it seemed to take so long (I'm picturing waiting to turn 16...that 15th year seemed like a decade at the time). Now, at 42 years old, 6 months passes in a scary fast way. Most people, if you are really blessed, are working with about 70 years... Psalms 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. That is...3,640 weeks...25,480 days... 611,520 hours of time the Psalmist calls a time of "labor". Did you know there are different kinds of prayer? It's easy to make your own "faith" a false God. If you believe that everything you think you hear from the Lord is right and unable to be wrong, soon you will find yourself a slave to what you hear. We want to go in the opposite spirit...we want to be kids and let God be dad. It is important to hear God...the most important thing...because without hearing Him you really don't have much of a relationship with Him. But then, we need to grow in our understanding of His heart. He isn't a task master, He's a Father. He wants us to grow in our knowledge of Him.
