History Repeats

For the end time prophetic promises of Isaiah to be fulfilled, Assyria needed to be reborn. Assyria invented terrorism in ancient times. They were the ones that hung people on spikes to scare others into submission... But Assyria wasn't the end of the story. Assyria simply made Israel ready for the fulfillment of the judgment that would come through Babylon's King Nebuchadnezzar, who was one of the first pictures of the antichrist to come. History is repeating itself. ISIS is the end time Assyria, with its capital in Nineveh, which is modern day Mosul, Iraq. They are simply the tool of God to make Israel ready for the antichrist to come in and take over the temple mount. This passage is describing ISIS: Isaiah 10.12-14.nkjv Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.” For he says: “By the stren

Reaction

Many people are beginning to see the hour we live in. Many of those same people are reacting in fear and preaching fairly radical solutions.... Fear based solutions: rallies, boycotts, sketchy financial investments, storing provisions, urban gardening...emergency training (this one cracks me up more than any other)... These are distractions based in fear. If these people are wrong about the time, then you have radically altered your life for nothing. None of these things help you get closer to Jesus. If someone truly understands the end time plans, and agrees with Jesus, their response should be what the end time response is always supposed to have been: talk to God more and more, and let the overflow of power that comes from that conversation save others. The end time harvest is really simply The Great Commission getting finished with power on it. All of the first believers believed they lived in the time of the end. Their plans didn't hurt people and disappoint them, they built t

Preparation

Understanding the promised nature of Jesus' return, and then actually preparing for it, makes every small problem take its rightful place. When I started taking Jesus' return seriously...when I took a sober look at it, the enemy whispered: your family will fall apart, your kids will be outcasts, and you will be rejected if you stick with this... In fact , almost as soon as I took up this message, relationships began to flare up, my son had a major accident and broke His jaw, and all of life seemed to rise against it. But this was just a test. I didn't turn back and this is what has grown out of taking Jesus's return seriously and actually helping others get ready: My marriage is better than ever, with both of us excited about the future My relationship with my boys is closer than ever, with our family sharing in a common vision that has Jesus at the very center Even though I make no effort to hide my beliefs, and often share what I am doing with my clients, give them co

Israel

There is some bad language in this article, but it is very important to understand: the US has never turned against Israel quite like we are right now. The former Israeli ambassador, now Knesset member, has a lot to lose for being so bold, but he seems to see a tragedy unfolding... You should too, since the Bible described this tragedy thousands of years ago: " I think the worst criticism is the line about the administration negotiating with Iran in secret on an issue of existential importance to Israel… (Oren writes in the book: “Most disturbing for me personally was the realization that our closest ally had entreated with our deadliest enemy on an existential issue without so much as informing us.”) For seven months behind our back." This is an important end time prophecy for Israel. Search out the word... This is describing the fate of the end time Babylon...The last global superpower to resist God's desire for Israel... Isaiah 49.25-26.nkjv But thus says the Lord : “E

Refuge

Isaiah 26.20-21.nkjv Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past. For behold, the Lord comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain. Over and over, one plan is outlined for God's people in the end time judgment: building safe places...upper rooms... Chambers of refuge.... All over the world. These upper room cities, called 'mountains' many places in the word, are going to be safe places in the storm unfolding all around us even right now. It is in these mountains that righteousness will meet power as heaven opens. God is raising a banner to draw people to safety...that banner is the people who, In humility, get ready in advance to bring in the harvest: Isaiah saw the safe places... Pockets that believed God for mercy enough to respond... in the end time Babylon, w

Teachers

Matthew 23.5-11 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. How do we reconcile this eternal truth for believers with this one: 1 Corinthians 12.27-31.nkjv Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers o

False Doctrine

False doctrine in the church places happiness above Jesus. Plowing through Jesus' warnings with fake plastic "joy" isn't faith... It's presumption. Presuming Jesus's warnings are for someone else disqualifiies you from their working. If you disqualify yourself for the warnings, you also disqualify yourself from the promises the warnings were written to lead you to. Joy is the innate sense of well being in the reality the warnings are describing. Meeting the warnings eyes wide open is what brings joy when it is actually needed. That is what seals a man or woman to escape the trouble the warnings are pointing to. http://bible.com/114/mat.24.7-14.nkjv For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many

Growing

Jesus doesn't require you walk through life perfectly, He is inviting you to walk through life with Him...learning to grow in the conversation with Him. All true breakthrough that happens in your advance toward God begins in the conversation with Jesus. John 15.5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. Jesus first leads us to the reality of who he is and directs our conversation heavenward. As I learned that prayer works, he taught me to get more specific with my requests. This gave me more breakthrough to clear out the hindrances... The distractions trying to keep me from power in increased conversation. The more I learn to talk with Him and not at Him, about specific things in His word, and not vague religious things, in a conversation and not in a recitation, the more power I touch.... The more power I touch, the more real my conversation becomes, the more power I touch. This cycle becomes more

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 7.29-31.nkjv But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none, those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess, and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away. Revelation isn't describing the end of the world. It isn't the revelation of the antichrist. It isn't the revelation of Satan. It is is the Revelation of Jesus Christ AND of Jesus' Bride. Revelation is telling the story of the in-laws....The sons and daughters of the Most High God... Finally being sifted and revealed. It is the story of a harvest wedding. The revealing of the sons of God (men are part of the Bride, just as women are sons of God) will be so glorious the light of the groom shining through the Bride will literally transform the "form" of the world...just as the light

Process

Many mistakenly think Jesus might show up in the sky any minute and fix everything. He COULD do that, but He won't. He laid out VERY specific plans about how He is returning. Numerous chapters describing very specific things that must happen for the Wedding to happen. Jesus won't show up at any minute any more than the groom in an earthly wedding would rush in and say his vows and rush off to the honeymoon before the Bride has been dressed and brought in and put in place. It would literally ruin the wedding. The fact that many believe in the imminent return of Jesus is simply an indication that they haven't really learned the wedding program...they haven't taken the time to learn the schedule of events. This is no big deal for the average bystander...but if you are the Bride, you should really understand the wedding. Revelation 19:4-8 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!
