Distraction

I hear the Lord saying "do not get distracted from the time of judgment at hand. Many will suffer needlessly because they would not consider the work of the be Lord in the Earth. Gather together now in prayer and sober worship that you might be hidden in the days that are coming upon the Earth." This is one of the more challenging times I ever experienced in my life for a variety of reasons, but the Lord keeps bringing me back to the simplicity of clearly stating what the Bible makes clear: judgment is unfolding on the Earth. He says don't get distracted. Delusion is being given to those who do not want to see trouble. Try to see the Bible being lived out on the earth. Watch and pray. Distraction is a pit and a snare right now. Get right with the Lord and enjoy the fruits of being sanctified...satisfaction, and fearlessness, and readiness to meet the Lord. Joel 2:11The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His wor

Sanctified by Faith

Grace is the power to not quit the journey of becoming sanctified. Grace allows me to keep getting back on the narrow road when I wander off in my mind. Paul said that the only way to get an inheritance in God is to let my belief in Him cause me to keep following Him. The road of following Him, as seen clearly in Paul's life, is costly. Grace provided by Jesus' sacrifice paid the price that I would stay on the road. The Holy Spirit provided by Jesus' payment for sin is the one who brought the power of God to the insides of my being. He has all the power I need to finish my course if I will keep moving forward. Acts 26:18 ‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’  "Sanctified by faith in Me." This is the story of a life following Jesus: over time I become more and more set apart by choosing

Repentance? For Christians?!

There is a misunderstanding...a false message actually...in the church that if you are saved there is "nothing left to do" but "trust the Lord." That couldn't be further from the truth. If you "trust the Lord" then you take his warnings and instructions seriously...you trust he was accurate in warning people to get ready to meet Him! That's true faith. Repentance isn't a one time act, it's a change of direction that implies forward motion. Salvation is a process of choosing to follow Jesus. It's to be worked out...like a muscle. The more I do it, the better I get at it. Philippians 2:11and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling ; 13for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.14Do all t

The House of Prayer

This should be a sobering word. Especially to the prayer movement. The house of prayer...the real one ... can't be approached any way we like. The point isnt to get people into the house of prayer. The point is a place to overflow in desire for more of God and to respond with more conformity to him. The house of prayer doesn't fix your life. It is intentionally designed to kill it. There can be only one God. To come in to His presence requires I relinquish my own dominion. The house of prayer isn't supposed to feed the flesh. It actually challenges the flesh. Ultimately, it is the perfect environment for sanctification...to really change ... but it only works for those who actually want to change. It has to be approached with sobriety, humility, faith and joy. You can't proselytize people into the place of God's presence....the real place...you can only lead them there by example. David said the Lord was a Shepherd, not a goatherd. One leads by going first, the othe

The Quiet Mountain of Unstoppable Power

The heart of God is to allow all those who want truth to come to Him. He does not force conversion. He does not demand that anyone acknowledge who He is. He simply is truth. Jesus, the perfect representative of the Father's heart expressed in mankind, IS truth. He doesn't plead with anyone to accept it. He simply is it. In the end, only truth will remain. Isaiah 42:1“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law.” After being tempted by Satan to prove who He was, Jesus then went home to those closest to Him. Luke 4:16So He came to Nazareth, where He had be

The Antichrist

When does the antichrist BECOME the antichrist? I hear the question fairly often: when does the antichrist become the antichrist? Does he know he is the person his whole life? The Bible is actually clear on this answer. The antichrist chooses to be the antichrist when he chooses to try to be the messiah to Israel. Israel has a messiah…invisible Jesus. But, for lack of belief in Jesus of Nazareth, she is still waiting for a man to come and rescue her from oppression. Jesus is the man who will ultimately bring peace to Israel…He is the only Prince of Peace. No true peace is possible without Jesus. BUT, the Bible is clear that a man is coming who will promise to protect Israel for 7-years…He will be the one credited with making peace. This peace is false, and he is only doing it to control Israel, not because he loves her. He will break the peace agreement, invade Israel, and set up a statue of himself in the new Temple, exactly half way into 7-year treaty…42 months…3.5 years…times, time,

Sanctified? Spared?

I believe in a safe place in the judgment unfolding. Though it is largely rejected, it isn't too late.  A sanctified people in a consecrated place can turn back the tide of trouble for their land if they are willing to humble themselves and submit to the clear instructions of the Lord. Only a sanctified people can do this. God doesn't care about the quality of the music or the articulation of the words of the prayers, or the appearance of the sanctuary....it is the cleanliness of heart and the willingness to stand with Him in His righteous judgments....to attribute to Him the truth: that He is the one behind the trouble, and that because He is allowing it, even raising it up, it is good. That God defines and discerns good and evil differently than man, and has every right to is the message of the sanctified. That man's discernment of good has led us into this mess is the message of the sanctified. That no king can save us but the One who loved completely different than
