Hindering Love

I have personally heard of at least six cases of appendicitis or suspected appendicitis among believers in my network of facebook friends in the last week. I'm praying for all these families and their loved ones, and resisting the attack of the enemy against bodies... but I think there is something more...bigger picture for the church...to this... I asked the Lord if this is highlighting anything, and I feel like he is saying something to the church as a whole through this...to be clear, this is not a message of warning to the people suffering with appendix issues, but rather I believe it is a sign on the earth of a spiritual reality unfolding. Like the moon turning red...God has no problem with the moon, but allows it to become red as a sign to the people that see it. The etymology of the word "appendix" indicates the root of the word is Latin for "hang upon." The use or function of the appendix is unknown, and it becomes inflamed for unknown reasons and can ru

Positivity

In many places, positivity is masquerading as faith. Positivity is often counter to faith. Faith walks hand in hand with truth. Jesus never lacked faith...not once... Yet he allowed himself to be deeply distressed and sorrowful. Mark 14:33And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” 35He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. Jesus was often negative regarding the future of those rebelling against humility: Luke 6:24“But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation. 25Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep. 26Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets. Jesus didn't try to see the best in people...he saw people in the light of truth, and

Protection

I hear the Lord say even now He is building a wall of protection... A wall of night and day prayer... around geographic locations. The building of the wall is a quick work...a supernatural work. What was not in place will quickly be in place...before you know it, there will be a wall and you will be on one side of it or another. You are choosing which side even now... By what you really believe enough to decide your next action...what you really believe is going to happen to you and your family next. As the wall is built, many...Many who even know about night and day prayer, Joel 2, Revelation, the Olivet discourse.... Many will find themselves outside the wall and exposed to great trouble... Because they simply stayed outside. They couldn't be coaxed all the way in...they waited to see, falsely believing "God would never let anything bad happen to me.".... They would not lift their heads...they would not raise their voice in the tabernacle when God was looking for living

Glory

Ezekiel 1:16The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went. God's glory will judge the darkness of the earth...the light of His brilliance will literally harm the darkness in the earth. Jesus comes with tribulation because the earth... Even right now...is rejecting the leadership of Jesus and mostly does not care about the consequences for that rejection. The glory and the consumption are the same move of God...a wheel within a wheel. In the Ezekiel passage above, the word translated "Beryl" is the word Tarshish...meaning yellow Jasper. That is the color of fire...it is the same word used for the city Jonah ran to when rebelling against the word of God to go and preach in Nineveh: Jonah 1:2“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great

Sincere

Song of Songs 5:2The Shulamite I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, “Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.” Sincere love for Jesus is different than wholehearted love for Jesus. Sincerely loving Jesus means you "mean it"...you aren't phoning in your concern to be in agreement with Him. You want to know " what can I do to please you?" Sincere love for Jesus wants to make sure that what the sincere one does will not violate the relationship with God. The sincere lover of God says things to God like "is it OK if I watch this?", "is it ok if I go to this place, or drink that, or listen to this?" The sincere lover of Jesus wants to be all His... Any action they consider, they want to make sure it won't violate fidelity to Jesus. Sincere is better than a casual approach of presumption, but it is not God's b

Hidden Trouble

The hidden nature of the trouble coming: Jeremiah 4:7The lion has come up from his thicket, And the destroyer of nations is on his way. He has gone forth from his place To make your land desolate. Your cities will be laid waste, Without inhabitant. 8For this, clothe yourself with sackcloth, Lament and wail. For the fierce anger of the LORD Has not turned back from us. 9“And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the LORD, “That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.” The end time trouble comes up "like a lion from a thicket" What does this mean? It means what is coming to eat you up, comes hidden. Many think "nothing seems to be happening," yet, what does the Lord say? Have you taken the time to ask Him? Or, do you presume he has nothing to say since there seems to be nothing to see? There is more happening right now towards the return of Jesus than at any other time I have

False Teaching

The main thrust of false teaching in this hour is putting the second commandment before the first. This sounds like love, but it isn't. Encouraging people to attempt to love each other apart from first connecting to the source of love is to teach frustration, burnout, and lukewarm loyalty to a very intense God. What truly fuels the spread of the gospel is burning in lovesick experience of a supernatural God who ignites our hearts to share life with Him... Attempting love for man apart from growing love for God first is a heavy yoke that is unkeepable in truth. This is essentially a humanistic approach to the goal of the Bible... It is Babel's tower...harlotry. There is no love apart from that which flows from God to man, and THEN from one person to another. You can't be the hands and feet of Jesus without having his life pumping blood from His heart to your heart. We don't get Jesus' heart by reading about about Him and then deciding how best to be like him among ou
