Readiness

The fruit of truly following Jesus in the end time should be a readiness to live with Jesus forever. That means over time I should be more peaceful, more faithful, more loving, more hopeful, more joyful towards people. I should be more like heaven and those who live there. This is a test we should all be applying to ourselves right now. I see a ton of "Christians" growing in anger, pride, delusion, and a spirit of blame and accusation. Growing in a negative spirit is a big sign you or I are on the wrong path. Your words are revealing your heart, and right now, many are alienating the harvest from the Lord of the harvest by their careless and angry words. God loves people on the left just as much as he loves people on the right. He loves kids protesting in the streets just as much as he loves the police on the other side of the line. Satan hates people and tries to narrowly define them in accusation. God is trying to free people. Many in the church are growing cold. Matthew 24

Luke 3

This passage can become so familiar we lose the context. This is one of the most intense passages in the Bible: Luke 3:3And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, 4as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight. 5Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; 6And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’ ” 7Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? John said "brood of vipers" because of love. A response is required. The valleys will be filled in with dead bodies, and the mountains ground down to nothing by shaking: Ezekiel 32:5I will lay your flesh on the mountains, And fill the valleys with your carcass.

Prophets

We so readily study and cherish the prophets now...Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Amos... But, in their day, most of us would have had nothing to do with them. They were seen as crazy, eccentric, unnecessarily negative, out of sync...Off base. This is the question: how could we ever change if we never believed we needed to? How would you feel if this guy went to church with you? Isaiah 20:2at the same time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and remove the sackcloth from your body, and take your sandals off your feet.” And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. How would you feel if this guy were your neighbor?: Ezekiel 4:10“And your food which you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it. 11“You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink. 12“And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using fuel of human waste in their sight.” 13Then the LORD said, “So shall the children of Israe

Watch

You won't believe what is about to happen. Habakkuk 1:1The burden which the prophet Habakkuk saw. 2O LORD, how long shall I cry, And You will not hear? Even cry out to You, “Violence!” And You will not save. 3Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises. 4Therefore the law is powerless, And justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore perverse judgment proceeds. 5“Look among the nations and watch— Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you. 6For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, A bitter and hasty nation Which marches through the breadth of the earth, To possess dwelling places that are not theirs. The Antichrist will appear to "die"....The head of authority...The mortal head wound. Revelation 13:1Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, h

Outpouring

I hear the Lord say "I will pour out my Spirit on June 4, 2017" When this happened in Jerusalem, those who were in the upper room benefited. There were thousands in Jerusalem, but only the 120 got the fire and the wind. Acts 2:6And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8“And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9“Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10“Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11“Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13Others mocking said, “They are

Joel 2:20

Got a great question from a good friend and thought it might be helpful for others: Question: Hi, so I was reading the book of Joel, and I don't understand Joel 2:20... could you explain it to me if you have time? _______________________________ Answer: Joel 2:20 "But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things." This passage is describing what God will do if we agree with Him about the plan for dealing with the end time antichrist army. The point of Joel 2 (the whole chapter) is to show us that we can do something about the rising up of the antichrist and political instability that will lead to the last world war, called the "Great Tribulation" between Gog and Antichrist. ________________________________ Here's a quick breakdown of Joel

Positions of Authority

Because God arranged His kingdom in order, there are positions of authority. The positions exist whether or not we realize it, look for it, occupy it, or submit to it. We need to value the positions of authority around us. We should be realizing authority....Looking for it, occupying our own positions of authority, and submitting to authority around us. The enemy is looking to squat...To occupy un-tended positions of authority, and steal authority in places he can get away with it. Matthew 12:43“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44“Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45“Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” Daniel 10:12Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel,
