Assyria

In the Bible, end time Assyria IS end time Harlot Babylon (Assyria is what is now known as Iraq, where Babylon was located). Assyria was a superpower God used to oppress Israel. End time Assyria will be the last superpower God will use to oppress Israel, even though it will at first pretend to be her protector. The "king of Assyria" is the antichrist. There is so much information in the Bible about this man, and what God intends to accomplish by releasing him to his desire. The world clamors for a man to fix the problems, and the antichrist will offer himself as the man to fix them. Rather than put their trust in the only one who can fix anything, Jesus, many will turn to the one who appears to be the strongest man, despite his arrogance and foolishness. Because the antichrist is deceptive and ruthless, many will be fooled by his smooth words, despite all evidence to the contrary. This man is a war monger, but claims to love peace, he is a liar but claims to be the only truth

Truth

This could have been avoided: Lamentations 2:10 The elders of the daughter of Zion Sit on the ground and keep silence; They throw dust on their heads And gird themselves with sackcloth. The virgins of Jerusalem Bow their heads to the ground. The Book of Lamentations is hard to take in. The thought that Jeremiah, the prophet who warned these same deaf ears of his people over and over, wrote this poem of lament is heart-breaking. Over and over, day in and day out, Jeremiah carried the same message "agree with God before it is too late." Yet the people, from the king, to the prophets, to the religious leaders, resisted Jeremiah's message, preferring instead to believe that military might, political maneuvering, financial strength could be trusted. They clung to a misguided idea that God would somehow overlook their causal approach to Him and their self-centered desires, and would prevent anything bad from ever touching them. Jeremiah said over and over "Babylon is comin

Transitional Generations

There are over 150 chapters in the Bible that are primarily about the last 7 years leading up to the return of Jesus. The generation that lives through the last 7 years of earth and heaven being separated is the last transitional generation. God is in the process of rejoining heaven and earth through a brilliant process worked out over more than 6,000 years. This process happens over three transitional generations: the generation of Moses, the generation of Jesus, and the Revelation generation. In each transition, God progressively opens heaven to earth...that is what will happen in the final 7 years, quickly and dramatically heaven will open and things previously unseen will manifest more and more in the physical realm. The final push will be when Jesus splits the sky at His coming, not to gather up his people and take them away to some other place, but to bring heaven to earth. Heaven is wherever God is, and Jesus is coming to prepare the earth for the return of the Father. He does t

Wheat and Tares Part 2

Notice three things from the parable: 1. God is not going to remove the wheat from the earth. He is going to remove the tares. This rock...earth...is what God created to live with us on. That is what He called "very good" in Genesis 1:31: mankind face to face with God on EARTH. God is going to get what He wants...and He called this earth "very good." He isn't going to rescue us from His own very good garden. No! He is going to restore this place back to very good. To do that, He is going to let everyone who wants to try life apart from him have a go at it. That means those who don't want His leadership are going where He isn't...which is the lake of fire. 2. The tares are gathered up first. If you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, you believe the wheat is gathered first and hauled off to some foreign place...this is not what Jesus described spiritually or physically...the wheat is stayin'...this is our home forever. God has not given up on earth.

Wheat and Tares Part 1

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. This is what the Revelation of Jesus Christ is all about: God causing all people to see the difference between His people and those rebelling against Him. Jesus intends to draw all people into a choice in one last generation. Nearly every prophecy in the Bible finds its full expression in the Book of Revelation. Only the brilliance of God could put this true story together over thousands of years, like a painter painting a masterpiece in the solitude of his studio, only to unveil it at the time it is complete. That is what God is doing right now. Releasing insight...understanding...into what He has told His servants...His messengers to seal up in days past: Daniel 12:9-10 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall

Once Saved, Always Saved?

There are many of my friends who wrestle with the idea of eternal security. The question is: if you are saved, are you always saved? The Bible is clear that you can never be snatched from God's hand, but that you can also walk away from salvation. These two truths have many people confused. John 10:27-29 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. Luke 8:13 But the ones on the rock are

The Return of the Lord

These passages are all regarding the end times... the return of the Lord. Do you see a theme? Jeremiah 5:12-14 They have lied about the Lord , And said, “ It is not He. Neither will evil come upon us, Nor shall we see sword or famine. And the prophets become wind, For the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them.” Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: “Because you speak this word, Behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire, And this people wood, And it shall devour them. Here, Jeremiah is told the smooth speaking prophets (you can interchange here "prophet" "shepherd" or "teacher" as Jeremiah is told the are the same)...those who say no trouble is coming, have turned the people into fire wood and their own words will produce the fire that consumes the peoples. This is speaking of the intense offense the people will feel when the trouble that everyone kept saying wouldn't touch people actually does touch them. Our words are powerful

Opening Eyes

Psalms 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. A couple of years ago, the Lord started to give me supernatural understanding of Jesus' plans to return. It wasn't that He told me secret things that no one had ever heard. He started to open the eyes of my understanding and show me the plain and simple things that were always in my Bible, but were hidden from my eyes by my own heart. The heart is the slipperiest thing going! People generally fit knowledge into their desire. If something doesn't fit, we tend to set it aside, like the less obvious pieces of an advanced jigsaw puzzle. The hardest pieces...the ones that appear kind indistinguishable from the others...those generally go in last. It isn't that we don't care about truth, it is that truth isn't always that obvious and we don't know how it fits. Anything that is actually true is like those blue digit

Negotiations

Negotiations are intensifying. If you are following this news story, you will see that even the closest cabinet members and advisors to the leaders are completely in the dark. Daily, reports of the negotiations having ended are released from very highly placed officials in both Israeli and Palestinian leadership...but the truth is here, not only are the negotiations not over, they are picking up great momentum. What the world is witnessing is unprecedented, brilliantly clever in its approach, with the full buy-in of the Arab League and including high-level near daily meetings...it just happens to remain buried on page 12 of the news...because it is way more important to hear about the new iphone, or Kim Kardashian's next marriage... http://www.israelnationalnews.com/wap/Item.aspx… This may or may not be the time prophesied. I personally believe that it is. This is becoming increasingly clear, if you know what to look for in the political movements of the surrounding nations. If it

Great Trouble

Ezekiel 22:30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. There is great trouble in the land. All over the earth the temperature is rising. The heat is being turned up by God in order to move hearts one way or the other. This will continue until the entire earth has decided whom they will serve: invisible Jesus or the "man with the plan"...the antichrist. God...right now...desires to build walls around geographic areas that desire what he desires. He will only give people what they want, though. He won't force anyone to agree with him in His desire. This intense situation forces a choice: do I believe God is the one most able to carry me, or do I need a more tangible plan to trust in? This is called the "valley of decision" and this valley is going to get narrower and narrower until the day Jesus splits the sky and returns to begin taking physical

Making Peace

Another tell-tale sign of what is really happening in Israel. The political bluster is hard to distill and discern...and many have lost interest in what is happening, but this is important to take the time understand what is happening and what it means for the world. This has never happened before, and thousands of years ago prophets were told these things would happen in the order they are happening in! the Israelis are steadily beginning to show signs of significant changes in their mindset. They are readying to make peace...the right wing of their politics is quickly losing ground to the left, who is ready to pull back and meet the demands of those around them. This is a new dynamic at a time where that appears to be VERY risky. This article describes what would be the equivalent of the EPA saying "we are not going to plan on regulating Texas anymore, since Mexico is probably going to get it back anyway" Almost no one is watching the biggest news story of the last 2,000 ye

Cities of Refuge

God is building the foundations of peaceful habitations...lands of Goshen...regions of refuge...all over the earth in this hour. It begins with worship and results in the transformation of the land. There is a specific reason why he is doing this. It is because at the same time regions of refuge are established, tribulation is released. This is what Joel called the "great and terrible" day of the Lord. Great if you agree with God, terrible if you do not. God desires to make a difference between His people and those who are rebelling against Him...not because He hates those in rebellion, but because He loves them. God is using the least intense means necessary to reach the greatest number of people at the deepest heart level without ever violating free will. This is described in the Bible as the seals, trumpets, and bowls. Incremental increases in letting mankind have what it wants, but doing it in a way that allows time for the choice to be made in truth. Even the judgments a

Inheritace

Jesus has a clear and knowable plan to bring His kingdom to earth. He told it to His disciples and apostles and then told them to "be ready." You can't be ready for something that is a theoretical debate...you can only get ready for something if you know what to be ready for! Right now, Jesus is ready. He is sending His servants out to get the guests ready, but because so few know what to be ready for, and they are more interested in life here and now...in a dying world...the Bible says many will refuse to receive it, and actually will mistreat those sent to get them ready: Matthew 22:4-6 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. If you are ready, you would
