The Difference Between God's Voice and the World's Clamoring

These are the days to lift my head and see what is really drawing near.  Hope is the currency of 2026. It will buy everything I truly need.

Luke 21:28 NKJV — “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Reacting to the events happening on the earth is to be led by my emotions and thoughts and not God.  

If I allow my life to be led by reacting to what others are doing, I am truly lost.

If I let the Holy Spirit inform me of what is happening BEFORE it happens, watch for it with Him, and then live into the thoughts, will, and emotions of God ABOUT what mankind is doing, I grow in oneness with God while He judges the world around me for it's lack of connection, or abiding in Him.

Mark 13:33 NKJV — “Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

God is giving the people of the earth over to their own desires.  All judgment is God simply letting man have his own way, and that way leads to more pain.  God will not force anyone to follow Him, and more and more are falling away right now.  Things will get much worse before they get better.

Anyone is invited to come out of that mess by asking God to have HIS way in our lives.  That's all repentance is .. agreeing with God.

To listen and believe God takes faith.  It isn't supposed to be crystal clear.  It's the believing in WHO He is that allows my ears to accept the faint whispers of His love.  

He sounds like no one else.  If I see and believe in His character in the Bible, the beauty He's knit into the world around me, the grace operating in the people I'm in relationship with that know Him, and in my own history of His mercy and kindness, then I learn the way He IS.  When I hear Him speak, I recognize Him by the way I already know Him to be.

John 10:26-28 NKJV — “But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Right now, we are living in confusing, tumultuous, and uncertain days.  God isn't like this at all.  What is happening is nothing like God.  That's the point of judgment.  He shakes everything so we find Him as He is unshakable.

Haggai 2:6-9 NKJV — “For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; ‘and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

God gives peace in His presence.  He controls everything and is stable.  Coming to HIS presence and out of the world's cray IS the point of these days.

God isn't the chaos maker, sin-filled and fickle man is!  God is the peace, joy, hope STABILITY maker. Impatience hates stability, but those who want peace repent out of impatience and draw near to it.

It's getting easier to recognize His voice, but harder to calm down and simply listen and believe.  If I just ask Him for help, there He is helping.

God is:

-Always listening

-Always ready to speak what I need

-Always ready to help

-Always saving

-Always redeeming

-Always comforting me into His arms if, and when, I am ready to draw near to Him.

He Knows I am Dust And He Likes It!!

The more I get to know God and the longer I follow Him and listen to Him... The more I learn to hear Him... One thing has become plain to me:  He has made provision for my weaknesses, which are many. The strength of my relationship with God doesn't depend on my ability to do anything except learning to be honest about who I really am and learning to fully want (pray) to be faithful and obedient to Him. All God wants from me is an open, and honest, heart. Love is Required

Talking to God More Fully

To have a relationship with God is to truly know the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The only way to truly know someone is to talk with them and listen to them.   I have to let down my guardedness and fear of getting it wrong for God to really show me what is right. God is God, Man is Not

As amazing as the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is, the fact that three times crowds tried to kill Jesus and could not is also amazing.
