Keeping Promises from God

Prophecy is an invitation to live into a naturally unlikely reality. Faith sees past all the reasons something might not happen and stands on the reliability of the one who said it will.
It doesn't take much faith to receive a prophetic promise, but it takes lot of faith to keep it when all the wind and waves war against it in our minds. Many prophetic promises are handed back to God by unbelief in times of testing. We stop living into prophetic promises in the micro-decisions we make, even while still "waiting to see.". I never want to wait to see...waiting to see isn't faith, its actually doubt:
John 20:29Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
We live in the last days. That means many great exploits will be performed by people that love Jesus:
Daniel 11:31“And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.
32“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
Many have gotten extravagant prophetic promises of greatness, and yet, do not believe but rather wait to see. Day by day, the micro decisions they make take them further and further from the promise, because they did not know the hour. Without revelation of the time we live in, many prophetic promises...especially the big ones...become more difficult to hang onto.
It's time to renew your vision by faith.
Don't let go of the promise that fueled your heart three years ago, five years ago, ten years ago. It's not too late. Pick yours back up again. Dust it off one more time, and believe...ask God to help you believe it despite the logic of it actually happening. The whole point of the promise was to defy logic, never to satisfy it.
Matthew 13:58Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief
Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
7By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith
