Family identity overrules titles. Titles are going away, sonship will not...it will grow forever. Get off the title path and get on the family identity course. One is going away and one is coming into focus. If you are a prophet, you don't need to tell anyone, they will tell you. A true prophet relies on his prophetic identity, he doesn't assert who he is before men to get their recognition. It defeats the entire point of being a prophet. A prophet mostly lives in a heavenly reality, otherwise, how could they express heaven? Same goes for all the titles men would take: John 1:19Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” 21And they asked him, “What then? Supernatural provision is essential for end time safety. A lot of people are afraid of the end times because it would take a miracle to live through what the Bible is describing. That is the point! God is orchestrating the end time events to give us a good reason to become pure and spotless and supernaturally minded! The end time need is going to drive end time faith, which will result in end time purity and spotlessness. That is what Paul taught: Romans 5:1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. The falling away marks the beginning of the end time tribulation. The end time tribulation is a 7 year event marked by two halves: the first half sifts the church, the second half, called the Great Tribulation, sifts the world. God is sifting out a Bride from the churches of the earth, and then the Bride is going to help sift out a harvest from the peoples of the earth. Seven divided churches from Revelation 2 and 3 are sifted. What is left becomes one pure and spotless Bride. The falling away is a major part of what cleans the Bride. The falling away will happen as restraint is lifted from the desire of mankind. That is happening right now, as murder, and theft, and lawlessness go through the roof. Those who fall away will be very confused about their relationship with Jesus. Many will even take the mark of the beast think God wants them to, because the false prophet will lead many to take it by claiming God is OK with it. The false prophet is a major Christian leader in the end time....

There is an open heaven over the Midwest right now, and the enemy of God is contesting it. Right now is time for the people of God to get clean hands and pure hearts and wrestle with God to get the blessing... That is what it means to be the generation of Jacob....to wrestle with God through the trouble and get a new identity as His people. Psalm 24:3Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? There were another two shootings last night in Kalamazoo (one near campus, one off of Duke in the south part of the city). I hear the Lord saying that repentance is what cancels the assignment of the enemy and advances the purpose of God by angelic releases that bring understanding. The problem of our hour is a defiant attitude toward God...expecting Him to change the situation without a willingness to humble ourselves and change our hearts. Repentance always starts with those who seem the least needing repentance... This is what a leader does... Leads the way by action, not just words, into the response God is looking for. Cloaking defiance in praying...claiming all the promises of God without yielding to the warnings...giving in to the necessary heart change... Is still defiance. It doesn't address the issue, which is rebellion to Jesus' leadership. Jesus is returning. He is going to make His people ready for that reality. The Biblical pattern is not to cry out "we win...

In February of 2014, I began saying the oddest thing: that I believed the end time 7-year tribulation began on December 19, 2013. I wrote a paper about it and shared it on FB. I am really committed to seeing a "Sermon on the Mount" community rise out of a Jacob generation. One that wrestles through the night to receive a new identity, see heaven open, and get the blessing of overcoming...going from being Jacob...the supplanter...to Israel, God's people. Biblical unity doesn't compromise any aspect of heaven....the supernatural, holiness, growing loyalty to Jesus... Biblical unity doesn't require the watering down of sanctification...it happens as a product of sanctification. Biblical unity is "unity by division"...which is unity by sanctification. It is in growing closer to Jesus that we get closer to one another. If we all crowd around the person of Jesus, we can't help but touch each other. That is the only way Biblical unity happens.
