The Nature of Love

This is the nature of love:

Deuteronomy 4:34“Or did God ever try to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Revelation 18:2And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

3“For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

5“For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Right now, God is gathering a nation out of the nations of the earth. Do you see it? Can you perceive it? Many will grope for any man who claims to be able to save what once was, but the answer in this hour is "come out" into what will be. Come out now, while there is time.

Matthew 25:31“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

32“All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

33“And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Revelation 5:9And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,

And to open its seals;

For You were slain,

And have redeemed us to God by Your blood

Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

10And have made us kings and priests to our God;

And we shall reign on the earth.”

Joel 3:9Proclaim this among the nations:

“Prepare for war!

Wake up the mighty men,

Let all the men of war draw near,

Let them come up.

10Beat your plowshares into swords

And your pruning hooks into spears;

Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ”

11Assemble and come, all you nations,

And gather together all around.

Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD.

12“Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;

For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.

13Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

Come, go down;

For the winepress is full,

The vats overflow—

For their wickedness is great.”

14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!

For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

15The sun and moon will grow dark,

And the stars will diminish their brightness.

16The LORD also will roar from Zion,

And utter His voice from Jerusalem;

The heavens and earth will shake;

But the LORD will be a shelter for His people,

And the strength of the children of Israel.

I hear the Lord say "what is it you fear losing so much that you would put your hope in yawning desires, Godless men, and useless plans that come to to fruitless ends year after year, even in My name. Rather, come out into the raging desire of the One who made you for this time. What is it that sustains the heart and feeds the soul? Or do you fear losing the dissatisfaction and boredom that have come to be your hedge, your shelter from feeling? Do you see the people of the earth will run headlong into fearful situations just for the hope of gaining an inch of eternity, yet the Spirit dwells in you and you will not move into my plans? Ask yourself, what will it take to move you? And then consider, what length have I promised to go to save you?

Haggai 2:7‘and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah 3:13The LORD stands up to plead,

And stands to judge the people.

14The LORD will enter into judgment

With the elders of His people

And His princes:

“For you have eaten up the vineyard;

The plunder of the poor is in your houses.

15What do you mean by crushing My people

And grinding the faces of the poor?”

Says the Lord GOD of hosts.

16Moreover the LORD says:

“Because the daughters of Zion are haughty,

And walk with outstretched necks

And wanton eyes,

Walking and mincing as they go,

Making a jingling with their feet,

17Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab

The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion,

And the LORD will uncover their secret parts.”

18In that day the Lord will take away the finery:

The jingling anklets, the scarves, and the crescents;

19The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils;

20The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands;

The perfume boxes, the charms,

21and the rings;

The nose jewels,

22the festal apparel, and the mantles;

The outer garments, the purses,

23and the mirrors;

The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes.

24And so it shall be:

Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench;

Instead of a sash, a rope;

Instead of well-set hair, baldness;

Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth;

And branding instead of beauty.

25Your men shall fall by the sword,

And your mighty in the war.

26Her gates shall lament and mourn,

And she being desolate shall sit on the ground.

And the thought is finished in:

Isaiah 4:1And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,

“We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel;

Only let us be called by your name,

To take away our reproach.”

2In that day the Branch of the LORD shall be beautiful and glorious;

And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing

For those of Israel who have escaped.

3And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.
