The Truth of Creation

It is important to see the creation rightly. Mankind isn't helpless...mankind isn't innocent of any wrong-doing. Mankind was made as second only to God and cast that aside for self-rule. This is the hard truth that required God's own Son go to the cross:

Hebrews 2:1Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

2For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,

3how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

4God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

5For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels.

6But one testified in a certain place, saying:

“What is man that You are mindful of him,

Or the son of man that You take care of him?

7You have made him a little lower than the angels;

You have crowned him with glory and honor,

And set him over the works of Your hands.

8You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”

For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

There is a false theology that God will only judge angels... That His wrath is only directed at angels...but mankind was made to be more responsible than angels...to actually share the place of sons...kings and priests:

1 Corinthians 6:2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

Many claim the promises, but cast off the responsibilities that make the promises real. You can't claim the promise of being a king and priest, and then pass all the responsibility for rebellion onto angels.

God is angry with mankind in rebellion to Himself. He doesn't see the people of the earth as innocent. He loves all that He has made, yes, but He is also quite angry with many of the those He has made...He has a controversy with people...not just fallen angels:

Jeremiah 25:31A noise will come to the ends of the earth—

For the LORD has a controversy with the nations;

He will plead His case with all flesh.

He will give those who are wicked to the sword,’ says the LORD.”

32Thus says the LORD of hosts:

“Behold, disaster shall go forth

From nation to nation,

And a great whirlwind shall be raised up

From the farthest parts of the earth.

33“And at that day the slain of the LORD shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.

34“Wail, shepherds, and cry!

Roll about in the ashes,

You leaders of the flock!

For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions are fulfilled;

You shall fall like a precious vessel.

35And the shepherds will have no way to flee,

Nor the leaders of the flock to escape.

Pastors...leaders...teachers...sons and daughters of the living God...should wail and moan that the nations don't see where they are heading. Even more so, we should moan and sigh that the church is teaching against the very judgments of the One who paid it all so that we...people... would respond in repentance and echo the warnings of God before they come!

Shepherds shouldn't whitewash the controversy the Chief Shepherd has with the people of the earth , but rather address it. It is false theology to teach only the promises. The promises are only obtained by heeding and responding to the warnings. The Lord has a controversy with the nations...which ones? All of them:

Joel 3:2I will also gather all nations,

And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;

And I will enter into judgment with them there

On account of My people, My heritage Israel,

Whom they have scattered among the nations;

They have also divided up My land.

We live in the very hour this passage describes. Israel is without a friend in ALL the nations. This is unprecedented in modern history. The political nations of the world have abandoned her to her enemies. Some help her in limited ways, but for selfish and insincere reasons:

Daniel 11:34During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.

This has left many people as enemies of God...especially, in this hour, in the Church...the very flock that claims to be His. Flattering and lying shepherds are keeping people from responding... From repenting.. Saying "peace" when there is no peace. Many shepherds are embarrassed of the finality of God's word about people in rebellion. This isn't love. You are not more kind than God when you ignore or explain away His warnings. It is hateful to cut off the avenue of escape to people who are promised punishment if they don't respond! The minimizing of judgment by shepherds in the modern church will results in the literal death of billions of people:

Jeremiah 6:13“From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit.

14They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.

15Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when I punish them,”

says the LORD.

16This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

17I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’

18Therefore hear, you nations; you who are witnesses, observe what will happen to them.

19Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.

Revelation 6:7When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”

8I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

If you really love a sick and dying person, you tell them how to get well and help them with the things that really work. If you really love a Father's leadership, you aren't ashamed of His decisions in how He leads the family that He has formed and led from the womb. God knows much more about love than the children do.

It isn't our job to be angry and wrathful towards the other kids in the household of God, but it is our job to agree with the Father. Only an evil child would convince his sibling that it was ok to disobey when they knew the eye of the Father was actually on the child about to be punished. A loving sibling would say "look, dad is watching. Do what he says, or you'll get punished."

Many false shepherds are trapping the people God is trying to reach by telling them they have nothing to fear. This is the opposite of what the Bible says:

Isaiah 8:12“Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.

13The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.

14He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

15Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.”

16Bind up this testimony of warning and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.

Don't believe everything someone claims is in the Bible. Find out for yourself. The Old Testament is full of the promises of punishment for people who will not respond....the New Testament, which includes the Book of Revelation, is even more severe.

God never changes...he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and He is coming soon:

Hebrews 13:8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Psalm 110:4The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

5The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.

6He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

7He will drink from a brook along the way, and so he will lift his head high.
