Lawlessness

I'm not telling you what to do. I do feel that many believers who are tracking with the Lord are getting browbeat into feeling like they MUST vote for Trump. That is, IMO, lawless.

I'm simply saying it might be wise to consider stopping telling others what to do when it is leading people to compromise on holiness to "serve" the cause of Christ. It would be refreshing if "leaders" in Jesus' body would stop letting their fear of Jesus being powerless drive them to beat others into a very narrow minded idea that Jesus can only save lives if a godless man is elected.

This theology makes Jesus distant and powerless. It says "we have to compromise Jesus and all He values or else Jesus will lose"...

Jesus won't lose. Jesus is a much better politician than you are giving Him credit for. Did you ever consider that maybe He is testing us? Maybe He is testing what we are willing to compromise to save our own skin? Maybe we should take a lesson from Daniel's friends:

Daniel 3:17-18 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

God honors THIS kind of political decision making. He shows up for this sort of thing.

Right now the threat is: vote for Trump or you are voting for abortion, or the persecution of Christians (persecution is guaranteed, btw. Its written). Don't be so easily mislead. Voting for Trump isn't going to save the unborn. How could a man who knows literally nothing about the Author of Life save lives in any meaningful way? By the supreme court? That hasn't worked ever.... By legislation? By arrogance? By misogyny? By a love of wealth?...what do either of the candidates offer to fix any of the problems we are facing, let alone something as holy as righting the wrongs?

Jesus is going to save the unborn. Specifically through the Spirit of Elijah as described in Malachi 4. Who would Jesus vote for? Who would John the Baptist vote for? Clearly NEITHER. The Spirit of Elijah needs to come through the pure in heart...the clean-handed. That is anyone willing to "come out" and be clean...touch NO unclean thing.

The problem with the country is a lack of Jesus. Trump will do nothing...literally nothing...to assist with that. Neither will Hillary.

Jesus is coming. He is going to ask you what you were willing to stand for. He is also going to ask you what you were willing to compromise...what did you lead others to compromise?

Matthew 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

I'm not telling you to vote, not vote, or how to vote. I'm simply saying: "Make your decision before the Lord and no one else". There are many fools claiming to speak for God, as usual. The intensity just makes them sound more convincing. Dial down and talk to Jesus. He is still totally willing to tell you what to do if you listen to Him.

Its funny, no one claiming to know what Jesus wants is teaching people to listen for the still small voice...they are just beating us over the head with their own fears.

Jesus wants our attention. He doesn't really need our vote. He isn't running a democracy.
