The Quiet Mountain of Unstoppable Power

The heart of God is to allow all those who want truth to come to Him. He does not force conversion. He does not demand that anyone acknowledge who He is. He simply is truth. Jesus, the perfect representative of the Father's heart expressed in mankind, IS truth. He doesn't plead with anyone to accept it. He simply is it. In the end, only truth will remain.

Isaiah 42:1“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
2He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
3A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
4He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”

After being tempted by Satan to prove who He was, Jesus then went home to those closest to Him.

Luke 4:16So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,

Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

20Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

22So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” 23He said to them, “You will surely say this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.’ ”
24Then He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country. 25“But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; 26“but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

27“And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian." 28 So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, 29and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. 30Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way. 31Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths. 32And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority.

This is how the kingdom of Jesus will manifest. Not by a large show of strength, or His representative sent out to convince the world to accept Him in one last push of epic proportions. Jesus' kingdom is going to come in a way true to His nature. It simply will not pass away in the midst of the judgments. The coming of Jesus' kingdom is like the rising of flood waters. If you sat to watch it, you would quickly lose interest because it would be imperceivable in any short moment of time....only by marking one month to another would you see the measurable rise...However, whether you can measure it or not, floodwaters will still drown your kids and destroy your home. Floodwaters don't wait at the door until you can measure them...they don't ask permission. They are simply much bigger than mankind can handle, and they have their way until they are done.

Matthew 24:36“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38“For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39“and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Many have asked me over the years "what will we do when it gets really bad?" This question reveals the lack of understanding of how Jesus is coming. It IS really bad right now. Much worse than a few years ago...in a couple more years it will be exponentially worse, but to those not letting themselves KNOW He is coming by faith, it will seem like the bad is always a step away. This is delusion. This is how the road to resisting Jesus...even into hell for some...will always feel...like the consequences are always at least a few tomorrows away.

This should be very sobering news for those on the fence about whether or not the kingdom is coming. Fence-sitters...the lukewarm.... Those with enough Jesus knowledge to recognize something is happening but not enough Jesus love to give themselves all the way to responding... They will be spit out by the very silence of Jesus' return. He is coming like a thief. He simply IS returning with no fanfare, no self assertion...His truth, like a mountain, simply will not pass away in the midst of the judgments, and it's very staying power....the weight of how true He is, will crush every other assertion of power.

Jesus will defeat every gentile attempt at government by simply being who He is...as many accept this quiet and powerful truth, it will become an immovable, then very heavy obstacle to those impatient to change the earth. Right now massive portions of the earth are growing in impatience...including in the church. Mountains are patient:

Daniel 2:33“its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34“You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35“Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

This mountain crushing the end time governments of the world will happen UNSEEN!

Luke 17:20Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21“nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” 22Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23“And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. 24“For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. 25“But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27“They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28“Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29“but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30“Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31“In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back.

32“Remember Lot’s wife.

Many will turn back, because they think Jesus' return ISN'T happening. They perceive a delay and then turn back to wordy behavior. These are traitors to the silent coming of the kingdom:

Matthew 24:48“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49“and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50“the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,51“and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The sheer silence of the coming of Jesus is proof of it's sheer power. The fact that Jesus will never be moved will be made plain to see in the City of the Great King, Jerusalem. Right now, the whole world has it's eyes fixed on Jerusalem. The nations are gathering to "fix" Jerusalem. That city will not be moved. Anyone who tries to put their hand to His city will be cut to pieces. The antichrist will lay siege to the very city He promised to protect, and then he will be destroyed atop the very mountain of the Lord by the simple exhale of Jesus upon Him:

Zechariah 12:2“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.
3“And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

Every Nation ... All of them including the USA... will oppose the silent coming of Jesus centered on Jerusalem, the City of the Great King. But, Jesus will simply come home once more and declare what is true. The glory of that truth...the truth that simply is patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control....the glory of His quiet humility, will engulf every dark and impatient lie in flames.

2 Thessalonians 2:8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

This is one of the reasons I set my heart to watch and pray with others....that that day not overtake me like it will so many who think it is at least a few tomorrows away:

1 Thessalonians 5:1But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
4But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
