Some people see God in everything...some people can't see Him right in front of them. I want to be a person who sees Him. The comfort is going. The Bible makes this clear. We are at the beginning, but can you see that day by day the world around us is becoming more intense, sharper, colder, hotter?...everything is becoming more extreme...that is the opposite of comfort. When I sit before the Lord and listen to what He is saying, for several years he has been gently warning that the comfort was going. My response has been "make me ready to stay faithful." He has led me to repent. This is His way of making a person ready...to get them low, not rising up. False prophets rise up. The warning in the Bible to believers is one of misinterpretation. Thinking God was going left when He was actually going right, or vice versa. Jesus said it like this "do not be deceived." Matthew 24:10“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11“...

Doubt looks for ways God's word isn't being fulfilled. Faith looks for ways it is. You cannot please God in doubt. Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 7By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Jesus' return is "as in the days of Noah." Part of what that means is that a few faithful will see, by faith, the prophesied events. Many will see, with eyes of doubt, that nothing is happening (for sure...doubt sees evidence, but it is never enough). The faith part of pleasing God means I choose to see something otherwise unseen. When the 6th seal opens, there will be 42 months of the worst trouble the Earth has ever seen. I believe we are rapidly approaching that moment. You will know it is unfolding when persecution of Christians increases and they begin crying out to the Lord in a unique way (5th Seal). The Lord responds with the opening of the 6th seal. When Satan is cast to the Earth...which is the 6th seal judgment...He knows He has a short time left. It is important to be connected to what God feels and what God says the time is. Right now, when I seek the Lord, I sense a great urgency to what He is feeling. It is deep. It's full of self control. There is joy. But, the intensity of what is coming onto the Earth is massive. Like a hammer coming to break things apart. This is of the Lord. Judgment comes from the Lord, first to the church, then later to the world. The church is coming into sifting, or judgment, right now. I love the church and consider myself a part of it. I don't say this because of bitterness, but rather the great softness I feel toward the church. God has emotions, just as we do. We are made in His image. I wouldn't want someone assuming I feel a certain way all the time. I would want to be known. At any given time you probably feel more than one emotion. So does the Lord. It is important to ask Him what He is feeling and then wait for an answer. These are the two passages he has given me to describe Hi...

What is the good news? Repentance and forgiveness. It isn't anything other than that. We GET to repent, which just means agree with God, and He is willing to forgive us for our wrong thinking and wrong actions. The gospel isn't about winning the world by force or by argument. The good news is that we can let Jesus win OUR hearts and then get freedom from impatience, hate, fear and anger. The life produced by being conquered by love makes us one with everyone else repenting and experiencing forgiveness. That is what Jesus will use to demonstrate who He is to the world. Satan is literally baiting the church into arguments Jesus isn't having. This is to pull us out of being conquered ourselves. A conquered church is the true church that walks in power...the one ready to be conquered itself...the Antichrist goes OUT to conquer (Rev 6:2). The real church goes IN to be conquered. Everyone gets what they want. I want to be near to the One who is kind, forgiving, generous, beautiful, patient, glorious, and radiant forever. The trick of life is that I am picking it now. In millions of ways, I am forming my heart forever now. It is in what I allow my routine to become that I will find my heart conforming to. I used to form my heart for comfort, balancing out my life in God, my family responsibilities, my work and career, friends...I found that I could hit that sweet spot of well-balanced life, but my heart was bored. Then, I encountered a simple truth that forever changed me: followers of Jesus are entirely unbalanced. Wholehearted means unbalanced...tilted entirely toward one thing. The American Gospel of being a respectable balanced Christian, who has all of Jesus and looks successful to the world is a total myth. The more I started to let Jesus unbalance me, the more I found actual joy. It was in giving myself entirely to seeking Him out....fasting and praying.....
