Seeds

Every word that God speaks is the seed of a promise. Faith allows that seed to be planted in your heart where it can grow and you can reap the harvest of the promise. The deeper you let it go, the more it can grow. Unbelief is rejection of that seed. God GENERALLY will not force even good things upon us without our agreement. Unbelief hardens our heart and prevents the seed from finding a place to take root. Every promise is "yes and amen" from the Sower, but God has made us for relationship, so the soil gets a say, too! Yes Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief! Matthew 13:58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 17:18-20 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this moun...

Gold Bought in Fire: Cities of Refuge

Revelation 3:16-19 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Jesus is standing at the door wanting to come in and be with us where we live. This will make many locations "cities of refuge" in the storm Jesus is allowing to form called "tribulation." Cities of refuge are an important end time reality. Right now, if you listen, you can hear a lot of people talking about cities of refuge. There is a TON of bad information regarding them, and lots of people talk about the...

The Narrow Road

Jesus said that following Him is a narrow reality: Luke 13:22-27 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ Following Jesus is narrow, because it is all about reducing your life to singular desire. What do you seek? Who are you seeking? John 1:37-39 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned...

Vessels

Esther 1:7-8 And they served drinks in golden vessels, each vessel being different from the other, with royal wine in abundance, according to the generosity of the king. In accordance with the law, the drinking was not compulsory; for so the king had ordered all the officers of his household, that they should do according to each man’s pleasure. Each person is a unique vessel. Gold vessels often sit on a shelf until special occasions. Sometimes special occasions bring out the vessels you have never seen before. It is important to understand the nature of a special time. The old ways are put aside for the hidden, yet valuable, vessels to come into use. The last 7-years leading up to the return of Jesus are the most special 7-years earth has seen. They are the transition to a new kingdom age, where the truth of life is going to be on display... This is the truth that will be brought to light in a time of great darkness: the truth that a life lived in complete dependence on the connection...

Lovesick

There is a promised splitting of the church between the lovesick Bride and the self-interested harlot church. The end time Harlot Babylon is a counterfeit to the end time lovesick Bride. The harlot religion will look very Christian, but will lack loyalty to one groom. She will love to talk about Jesus, but she will lack burning loyalty to the one who is coming to rule the nations with an iron rod. The false church will try to hold unity together with logic and coercion. She will sacrifice truth on the altar of "unity" and she will find herself united with others, but not with Jesus in the center. They will do the stuff in His name, but He will not know them. The aren't working towards His kingdom coming and the unpopular judgment that comes with His rule, they want their OWN kingdom to manifest. Matthew 7:19-23 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, L...

Good

The question the earth is mostly asking right now is "who is the good guy? Who do I want to win? Which one of these leaders agrees with God?". The one who agrees with God is the one who says "our only hope is the return of Jesus." I don't hear anyone in the political or media sphere actually saying that. It is extremely rare even in the Church. The earth is struggling to find the good leaders...the ones who can fix all the problems, or even a few of them. They are looking in all the wrong places for the wrong person. This is a massive indicator of the time we live in. It is very tempting to find the strongest horse and put your weight behind that man or woman you think has the best chance of prevailing with the same values you have. This is not the solution the Bible is describing. This calls for great clarity and understanding. Voting our values is great, but trusting in a human, man-based, solution in this hour is actually considered evil...which means it is a...

You Make Me Brave

Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” God is an excellent author. It is actually one of the primary identities He has chosen to reveal Himself through...Author, Father, Husband, Faithful Witness... Jesus IS His own story. He is the reality the Bible is relating...and He is the author of the words. He has chosen to express very specific facets of who He is in the story He has written for us to read. He is much more than His words, but Jesus actually is the literal Word. Jesus is the story God began in the garden: John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. The beginning of the story is very impo...
