Peace and Safety
Isaiah 30: 9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD; 10 Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
I don't want to teach smooth things, I want to teach right things. Smooth things won't actually help. Right things will.
Saying "everything will be ok" when God is trying to stir people to respond is rebellion...it is lawlessness. It is agreeing with the spirit of the antichrist:
Matthew 7:21-24 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' 24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
2 Thessalonians 2:7-9 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
The end times are the testing of truth. The tribulation is a test for believers and unbelievers. It is the end time sifting. Jesus came to not just plant a harvest, but to THRESH a harvest...to sift men's hearts:
Luke 3:16-18 John answered, saying to all, "I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire." 18 And with many other exhortations he preached to the people.
John told about the threshing as an exhortation...that means he was trying to get them to respond. The end times are the final test of who will respond. Faithfulness...Faith over time, despite circumstance...is required... "whoever hears and does...HE is wise"
If you don't listen to the messages from heaven with humility, willing to respond...then you will have a very hard time with the FIRE coming. Many cry out "send your fire!" Fire is coming to glorify AND to judge. The same fire is coming either way. Calling down glory IS calling down judgment. Grabbing onto that glory line and yanking with your words IS grabbing onto judgment and pulling it down. Many have no idea what they are tugging on when they cry out "send fire".
The rain that came and flooded the whole earth...it did two opposite and powerful things... it lifted the ready man's boat and extinguished the rest of life...but it was the same rain that lifted Noah up to safety:
Genesis 7:18 As the waters rose higher and higher above the ground, the boat floated safely on the surface.
The "latter rain" is going to begin a flood of GLORY...light...FIRE. The end time flood is going to be much more powerful than some physical water...
Many think the rainbow means God won't do anything as intense again. Nope. The rainbow means the next flood isn't merely water, but something much more powerful: full spectrum light...water and light both give life, but if you don't have a capacity to withstand a lot of either one, they will kill you. You need to get ready to receive a flood of light. It is coming.
Don't make the mistake of thinking the end time flood is easier to withstand than water. The rainbow is reminder of God's mercy, but you have to choose to agree with it. He won't force you to get ready, but you really need to:
1 Timothy 6:14-16 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
Unapproachable light is what is coming...the glory of God...THAT is the next flood. Everyone who responds...like Noah, will be lifted up in this flood. Everyone who doesn't will be overcome...consumed...burned up...by the flood of light:
Revelation 6:15-17 Then everyone—the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person—all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?"
He is going to shame the sun with His brightness:
Isaiah 24:20-23 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again. 21 It shall come to pass in that day That the LORD will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. 22 They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. 23 Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the LORD of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.
So, imagine the sun...the dim little sun that makes the day...imagine that touching the surface of the earth. Now, imagine a person much brighter than the sun coming to earth. The burning bush times a billion. The bush Moses saw out in the desert was alive, but on fire. The trees and the plants and stuff...they are longing for this perfect light...but the fallen heart of man, not so much...
You really need an ark for the end time sorting out...a safe place for the flood. Ignoring this fact only builds up the pressure of the coming flood. Responding now puts you in the right position to be safe when the wave of glory, WHICH IS the swelling tribulation, breaks. Listen now, while there is time:
Isaiah 30:8-14 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever: 9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD; 10 Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. 11 Get out of the way, Turn aside from the path, Cause the Holy One of Israel To cease from before us." 12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: "Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them, 13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant. 14 And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern."
I don't want to teach smooth things, I want to teach right things. Smooth things won't actually help. Right things will.
