Come Out of Babylon!
Anyone truly in a growing relationship with God... Anyone that truly knows Him, becomes more and more confident of One Thing: God is the strength of their bond, not themselves.
*It's God who made us, not the other way around
*It's God who sustains us... Every heart beat, every breath..
*It's God who holds eternity, not us.
*It's God who has done every good thing, not man.
If heaven is truly good, it's good because of God, not man.
If righteousness is truly righteous, it's because of God not man.
Life is only a thing we have because God decided it would be so. He is looking for those who humble themselves back into His majesty and out of their own theft of His life and creation.
Relying on human strength for godliness is theft, not a help to God.
What I do doesn't help me grow in God. What I want and express to him in prayer (ask and receive) does. It takes God for all the change necessary to make me righteous.
Trying to be righteous for God results in all sorts of delusions and confusion. Trying to be God-like results in division, war, emnity, and pain. It leaves the stain of self-righteousness on what would otherwise be a witness of the generous and merciful heart of God.
Letting God lead me daily into a righteousness HE is the author and finisher of is the real life God made man for. Just look at Genesis. Salvation wasn't a plan God asked man to concoct and enact. Most people who have ever gone to church have been taught that their job is to enact (inflict) their salvation on themselves and everyone else they can find. That simply isn't true.
No. God made man and angels for partnership in subservient roles to himself. We aren't supposed to BE God. We are supposed to listen to, and obey Him... In real time.
Satan wanted to be God and be like God without God's leadership. That is what Satan led mankind into.
Isaiah 14:12-15 NKJV — “How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.
Right now, God is looking for those who will embrace human weakness, not human strength. Embracing our weakness allows God to be our strength. This is what a mature Paul testified to:
2 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV — Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
This ^ unfortunately is what the church is mostly fighting right now!!! That is how we know we see delusion being poured out. The church is trying to avoid the very cross it is built on.
God is giving mankind over to his own desire to self save. This is delusion being poured out because mankind cannot save itself. We were always supposed to embrace lowliness, not strength.
Picking the good agenda, good people, good programs, good politics, good alliances... This will all fail.
Trying to avoid the judgment God has raised up is the very evil God is eradicating through the judgment.
God will only accept people that carry a real cross... That want it... People that like self denial. Those God wants are those that want Jesus' same lifestyle.
Luke 9:23-26 NKJV — Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.
The body of Jesus isn't suppose to win the world. It's supposed to be "in Him" when He does! He will win it over 1,000 years of perfect loving, patient, peaceful, gentle, joyful, and kind, self-controlled reign. Any other winning of the world in His name is false...counterfeit.
Matthew 24:11-13 NKJV — “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
False prophets preach false Christ's... False "anointed ones"... False saviors. Salvation of this life isn't the point of the salvation Jesus is orchestrating!! Jesus orchestrated a way to die to this life and live in Him.
The church is being misled to strive for righteousness and goodness, rather than to submit to God! The false hope being sold is that the bad will go and the good will come. This is the delusion God warned of!
All those of His people that are sure the sword won't find them will have the sword pointed at them. God is looking for the weak but faithful... The mustard seeds of His kingdom. Not those who do something, those who know they are something, are Someone's, and are confident enough in His adoption of them that they endue the momentary light affliction FAITHFULLY.
Amos 9:9-10 NKJV — “For surely I will command,
And will sift the house of Israel among all nations,
As grain is sifted in a sieve;
Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword,
Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’
False grace is to take the truth of God's gift of adoption and carelessly live outside of His leadership as a Father. This results in lawlessness and is rejected by God.
True grace is to take the same miraculously generous truth of adoption and decide in light of it to live within the bounds of God's leadership. This is lawfulness and results in a cross.
Striving to be righteous isn't a right application of grace. Striving to be led is.
Luke 13:24-28 NKJV — “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. “When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ “then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ “But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ “There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.
Familiarity with Jesus and His teachings, and trying to "do" them isn't what it means to enter the narrow gate, death of self-leadership is.
Jesus knows those who are HIS... Those who give themselves to Him, not try to be righteous for Him. To give myself to Yeshua is to let His personality dictate my emotions, my thoughts, and what I do with what is true.
Jesus doesn't argue, mock, accuse, shout in the street or on FB, live in fear, or celebrate fleshy accomplishment. He isn't jealous, competitive, greedy, or ashamed.
I read the Bible and I find out that Jesus isn't trying to fix the economy or save Israel in the flesh... He is shaking everything so the humble will find Him before it's too late:
Revelation 6:5-6 NKJV — When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
Jesus opens that seal!!!
Jesus is hopeful no matter what is happening. He is peaceful, even unto death. He is generous, forgiving even enemies. He is true. He is confident because He is the firstborn Son of God and the firstborn of many others.
Everyone who has this same hope purifies themselves just as Jesus is pure. That doesn't mean they strive harder to be good. They die more to themselves to be led.
Purity describes a source, not an action. To be pure is to have one hope, one strength, one identity, one vision.
To have multiple hopes, multiple strengths, multiple identities and multiple visions is biblical harlotry. The true bride has one groom, one Father, one family, one destiny...
1 John 3:1-3 NKJV — Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
If this is my true life, I don't waste my time appealing to the broken world to see me, get me, understand me, agree with me, or help me. I don't browbeat those I disagree with, or hope those Indo agree with will save me.
If Jesus' life is my life, I appeal to my own soul to see Jesus, get Jesus, understand Jesus, and listen to Jesus. I embrace weakness and let Jesus be my source and reward for life.
Everything else will be judged unfaithful, rejected, and burned. Forever.
Revelation 14:8-13 NKJV — And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, “he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. “And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
Everybody trying to save Babylon will suffer with her. Those who come out will be a shining light to her that many would come out of great tribulation.
Mostly, we see everyone feeling real righteous about THEIR way of saving Babylon. They have all become corrupt together.
Revelation 18:4 NKJV — And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
