False Teaching

The main thrust of false teaching in this hour is putting the second commandment before the first. This sounds like love, but it isn't.

Encouraging people to attempt to love each other apart from first connecting to the source of love is to teach frustration, burnout, and lukewarm loyalty to a very intense God. What truly fuels the spread of the gospel is burning in lovesick experience of a supernatural God who ignites our hearts to share life with Him... Attempting love for man apart from growing love for God first is a heavy yoke that is unkeepable in truth. This is essentially a humanistic approach to the goal of the Bible... It is Babel's tower...harlotry.

There is no love apart from that which flows from God to man, and THEN from one person to another. You can't be the hands and feet of Jesus without having his life pumping blood from His heart to your heart. We don't get Jesus' heart by reading about about Him and then deciding how best to be like him among ourselves. We get His heart by fellowshipping with Him...spending time with Him. Learning to hear Him. This should be the main focus of those who name His name. The Bible calls this "tarrying for power"... To do the great commission:

Luke 24:46Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

47“and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48“And you are witnesses of these things.

49“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

Those first believers did exactly that...tarry in the upper room until power fell and 3,000 got saved. With eyes, voices, and arms raised to heaven, love spread out on earth.

We fulfill the second commandment...loving our neighbor as ourselves... as an overflow of loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.

I don't want to just know someone who knows God. I want to know God myself. I want to listen to teachers that experience God and are most interested in connecting me to God... Relaying what moves God's heart... So I can take that and experience Him more. God is more interested in the people around me than the greatest teacher I can find. If I connect with God, I am sure to serve people with signs wonders and miracles. Connecting with signs wonders and miracles doesn't necessarily connect me to God's heart. We must be loyal to God in this hour and put the first commandment where it belongs:

2 Thessalonians 2:9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

False teachers are promised to teach the second commandment...how they help people, unite people, heal the sick, and care for the poor, as a means to elevate themselves or their movements...not the people they claim to serve or those they desire to teach:

2 Corinthians 11:13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

14And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Teaching the second commandment over the first short circuits the true gospel. The core message of the true gospel is: "there is a way to come before God and really see Him, and hear Him, and share life with Him...and what He is doing is inviting everyone into that space." You can't really invite anyone into a space you don't know...regularly visit...occupy... yourself.

It is essential to evaluate the fruit of what you are hearing for yourself. I'm not saying call out every false teaching...I'm saying eat what is good for you. Eat what makes you want to give Jesus more. Eat what makes you excited about talking to Jesus more in private, not what makes meetings more exciting. False spirits serve people, quote the Bible and do signs, wonders, and miracles... False teachers claim to love Jesus better than anyone else...that's a big part of the problem.

Does what you are feeding on make you want to draw near to Jesus to be like Him?....more humble? More lowly? More serving?.... Or does what you are feeding on make you want to be more like the minister, or group of ministers. Do you want the approval of God or people? Are you reaching to be more united to Jesus, or reaching for more unity with people? Are you willing to compromise what you know to be true in order to get more unity? True unity comes from agreeing with Jesus about others...not by agreeing with others about Jesus. The end time Bride will be loving of others, but unwavering in Her loyalty to Jesus first. She will hear Him herself and the. Do what HE says...this will truly increase love.

The one consistent thing Jesus warned about in this hour is the increase of false teachers, and false teaching. You are supposed to be ready, watching, and praying. Don't believe everyone who claims they are serving Jesus...know them by their fruit:

Matthew 7:15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

16“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

17“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
