Safe in the Flood

I hear the Lord saying that He is turning water to wine. He is taking mourning doves, and turning them into Noah's doves.

If you want to be safe through the flood of trouble that is coming, let the Lord know you aren't OK with it. He will turn your precious tears into the power of the spirit and increase at just the right time:

Isaiah 59:9Therefore justice is far from us,

Nor does righteousness overtake us;

We look for light, but there is darkness!

For brightness, but we walk in blackness!

10We grope for the wall like the blind,

And we grope as if we had no eyes;

We stumble at noonday as at twilight;

We are as dead men in desolate places.

11We all growl like bears,

And moan sadly like doves;

We look for justice, but there is none;

For salvation, but it is far from us.

12For our transgressions are multiplied before You,

And our sins testify against us;

For our transgressions are with us,

And as for our iniquities, we know them:

13In transgressing and lying against the LORD,

And departing from our God,

Speaking oppression and revolt,

Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

14Justice is turned back,

And righteousness stands afar off;

For truth is fallen in the street,

And equity cannot enter.

15So truth fails,

And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.

Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him

That there was no justice.

16He saw that there was no man,

And wondered that there was no intercessor;

Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him;

And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.

17For He put on righteousness as a breastplate,

And a helmet of salvation on His head;

He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing,

And was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay,

Fury to His adversaries,

Recompense to His enemies;

The coastlands He will fully repay.

19So shall they fear

The name of the LORD from the west,

And His glory from the rising of the sun;

When the enemy comes in like a flood,

The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.

Genesis 8:10And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark.

11Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.

12So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.

13And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and indeed the surface of the ground was dry.

14And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.

15Then God spoke to Noah, saying,

16“Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.

17“Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”

18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.

19Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.

Genesis 9:19These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.

20And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard.
