Nameless and Faceless Generation
In February 1989, at a Vineyard Fellowship conference in Anaheim, California, Paul Cain, a prophetic minister from Kansas City, released a vision of the end time generation filling stadiums with worship and prayer meetings which would radically affect the nation's for Jesus.
In the vision, Mr. Cain saw healings at a level that haven't happened since the Book of Acts. He declared that in the last generation there would be a move of God so powerful that ambulances would bring the sick and hurting to worship and prayer meetings, as they did in the days of Acts 2 and Jesus' ministry. One of the aspects Jesus highlighted in Mr. Cain's prophecy was that of the character of the ministers God would raise up to cooperate in this dramatic moment in the maturing of Jesus' body. Mr. Cain prophesied that those participating in this ministry would be "nameless and faceless.". This prophesied end-time move of God won't be about human personality, but rather the person of Jesus Christ, THE Anointed One!
This prophecy is incredibly important to understand in this hour of history. Mr. Cain, who was at the time of this writing is in his late 80s, was told he would live to see this generation emerge in the church. I believe we are witnessing it right now. This will not be the experience of the vast majority of the church.
Revelation 3:8“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
Most will say " no" to this calling, but a few... very few... will choose the path of "little strength, not denying His name, and persevering in faithfulness.". These will be the main leaders, along with the great cloud of witnesses that have chosen that same level of faithfulness throughout the ages. Those who choose to be friends of the Bridegroom!
John 3:26And they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified—behold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!”27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.28“You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’29“He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30“He must increase, but I mustdecrease.
Jesus called John the Baptist the " greatest man born of a woman" up until John's time. Greater than Moses, David, Solomon, Daniel, Noah... can you imagine being singled out through all of Biblical history as greatest?!
Matthew 11:6“And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”7As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?8“But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothingare in kings’ houses. 9“But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.10“For this is he of whom it is written:
‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’
11“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14“And if you are willing to receive it,he is Elijah who is to come. 15“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
The violence that John chose was the violence of spirit to set himef into the place God had invited him into forever. John violently chose the invitation to "sanctification" to be the one to "prepare the way before" Jesus. The invitation of Jesus that day that he proclaimed John as "greatest" was to you and I... that any of us, with the Holy Spirit leading, can prepare the way for the next move of God. But, if it's really Jesus moving, those preparing the way must lead in the same love of Jesus and John. If we are to be forerunners of Jesus, we are choosing to get people ready to see the glory of His LOVE. That looks different than the way the world defines love:
John 15: 13“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
This is what John the Baptist chose violently. This what Jesus chose unto the very death on the cross. John chose it to get the world ready to see Jesus fully live it out. This choice for love will force a choice all across the earth, starting in the church. The end time Philadelphian Bride will choose it as a witness, Jesus will come and live out that choice with great consequence. Anyone who rejects the love of a life entirely laid down will be found unworthy of :is company forever. Jesus will sift and separate the whole world based on this one choice to love:
Mark 8: 33But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” 34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Anyone who resists this message and teaches others to resist this message will be least unless they repent. This is the end time synagogue of Satan. Jesus called Peter "Satan" when he slipped into this mode of talking Jesus out of a life laid down. The same will be said of the elements of the church that try to talk the end time Bride out of this sacrificial and violent choice for sanctification.
The end time Philadelphian Bride will warn the church to repent into this, but Jesus is coming to evaluate the response to the warning!
Matthew 3: 10“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” 13Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
