Voluntary

The crusades were a time when the promises of a voluntary kingdom of heaven were taken into man's hands to be fulfilled involuntarily....imposed upon the middle East...in the name of Jesus. This is one of the darkest times in the history of the church.

Jesus' kingdom is entirely voluntary. You can't violate the voluntary nature of it and be true to who Jesus is. No army can enforce Jesus' kingdom without losing it all together. No government can arrange it, no lie can subdue it, no corruption can thwart it.

Islam means 'submission'. Allah is the God of Islam. The nature of this spirit is to make people suffer the consequences if they don't submit.

Jehovah is entirely different. He is patiently waiting that as few as possible might suffer the consequences of not submitting to the truth that He made everything and will rule it forever. Jehovah intercedes that people might be spared. That is different than imposing a kingdom on the unwilling.

Many in the church are desiring to take matters into our own hands....to push back the 'evil' by armies and human means. This, in and of itself, is the same evil. This is not the kingdom of Jesus, but rather a spirit of control and involuntary submission. It's fruit is fear, anger, compromise, and hatred. The fruit of Jesus kingdom is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness, and self control. Those representing Jesus' kingdom are growing in these attributes. Those representing Jesus for real will speak the truth, but in love.

Jehovah's kingdom needs no human help. It will crush every gentile kingdom, including every part of the USA that won't embrace the voluntary nature of the kingdom of Jesus and submit itself willingly to Jesus' rule. The privilege of voluntarily submitting to Jesus' leadership is to stand in the truth, learning to submit to it, and patiently waiting for the truth to stand when every lie falls.

Truth requires I first focus on where I don't submit so I can learn to be helpful in love to help anyone else who willingly wants to submit. It's an 'inside out' reality...not a top down reality. God does all the top-down without human help....in love...with an eye towards salvation, that none would perish if possible.

Daniel 2:44“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

45“Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

11Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

12looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
