Patient

Jesus is not passive, He is patient.

Patience is strength. Passivity is weakness. There is a difference.

Jesus doesn't 'cause His voice to be heard.' He is patient that truth, and only truth, will remain when the dust clears.

Jesus won't 'break off a bruised reed.' He doesn't force anyone in, or out, of the truth. He waits for the natural process of truth to do it's work to heal or judge.

Jesus won't 'quench a smoking flax.' He isnt worried about the mess and confusion created by someone trying to burn in the truth. He lets the fire take or go out...He trusts in truth and the desire for it or hatred of it to do it's work.

This is the true light of love.

Jesus doesn't force His will upon anyone, but His will, and only His will, is going to prevail.

In this patience, Jesus will lead all people who remain in His ways forever...voluntarily. He won't have to convince ANYONE to stay loyal to truth...and He IS truth.

Many want to argue truth in this hour. Jesus doesn't argue the truth. He simply states it in Revelatory authority and then let's it defend itself.

Before His accusers, Jesus was silent. Jesus doesn't force His truth even upon those desiring to harm Him. No one can harm Him long term.

The church is falling away from Jesus in remarkable ways. On the right and on the left, Jesus' way of truth and love is being abandoned for arguments Jesus isn't having, in places He isn't arguing.

If we will not repent, we will find ourselves in outer darkness, arguing "Jesus' cause", yet lacking Jesus' heart...His confidence...His truth...His love.

If you love Him, obey His commandments. That doesn't mean 'be silent'...it means stay under His authority and trust that His ways are, in fact, higher than your own. Speak in your authority. Teach in your sphere of authority and trust that if it needs to get to 'that man' or 'that woman' it will in due time. Believe that simply speaking the truth is the act of obedience God is looking for...that it is powers and principalities that need to hear it, not the person you agree, or disagree with.

Our problem isn't the people that don't get it. Our help and rescue isn't the people that do. It's all about us learning Jesus' way so we can voluntarily love it forever.

My heart breaks for the church in this hour. So much wasted breath arguing things Jesus isn't. So little prayer for our souls. He is coming. People get ready.

Isaiah 42:1“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,

My Elect One in whom My soul delights!

I have put My Spirit upon Him;

He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

2He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,

Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.

3A bruised reed He will not break,

And smoking flax He will not quench;

He will bring forth justice for truth.

4He will not fail nor be discouraged,

Till He has established justice in the earth;

And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”

5Thus says God the LORD,

Who created the heavens and stretched them out,

Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,

Who gives breath to the people on it,

And spirit to those who walk on it:

6“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness,

And will hold Your hand;

I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,

As a light to the Gentiles,

7To open blind eyes,

To bring out prisoners from the prison,

Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

8I am the LORD, that is My name;

And My glory I will not give to another,

Nor My praise to carved images.

9Behold, the former things have come to pass,

And new things I declare;

Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

10Sing to the LORD a new song,

And His praise from the ends of the earth,

You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,

You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!

11Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice,

The villages that Kedar inhabits.

Let the inhabitants of Sela sing,

Let them shout from the top of the mountains.

12Let them give glory to the LORD,

And declare His praise in the coastlands.

13The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man;

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.

He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;

He shall prevail against His enemies.

14“I have held My peace a long time,

I have been still and restrained Myself.

Now I will cry like a woman in labor,

I will pant and gasp at once.

15I will lay waste the mountains and hills,

And dry up all their vegetation;

I will make the rivers coastlands,

And I will dry up the pools.

16I will bring the blind by a way they did not know;

I will lead them in paths they have not known.

I will make darkness light before them,

And crooked places straight.

These things I will do for them,

And not forsake them.
