New Jerusalem

Right now, the nations are contending over who should rule Jerusalem. Your opinion on this reality is of utmost importance.

No one should put their hand to dividing that city either politically or spiritually. We need to be REALLY clear on this. There is one Biblical narrative for the City of Jerusalem.

There is not one square inch of that city, especially the temple mount, that God is passive about. From my notes for tonight:

"1 Corinthians 15:24-28 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. (25) For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. (26) The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. (27) For "HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. (28) Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

I. The two cities, Millennial Jerusalem and New Jerusalem, will be united at the end.

J. God has named the heavenly city NEW Jerusalem. That means Jerusalem is of HUGE importance to Him. It is the MOST important city to:

i. GIVE to God spiritually (consecrate).

ii. Wait for the Lord to do His will in (faith).

iii. Pray for (intercede).

iv. Stand for God’s right to rule (witness).

K. The sealing of this generation from Judgment will ENTIRELY depend on our individual opinion and stance on who should rule the City of Jerusalem both politically and spiritually:

Ezekiel 9:1-7 Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, "Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand." (2) And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer's inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar. (3) Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side; (4) and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it." (5) To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. (6) Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." So they began with the elders who were before the temple. (7) Then He said to them, "Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" And they went out and killed in the city."

Your secret, as well as public, attitude about what is happening in Jerusalem is being monitored and recorded by God right now. It will have massive consequences in the days to come."
