God+ ?

Biblical harlotry = God +

Anything you add to faith in the sole strength of God, sole righteousness of God, sole provision of God, or sole goodness of God, corrupts your relationship with God.

God requires fidelity. One trust (salvation), One good one, One hope, One Spirit:

Ephesians 4:4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

This is the basis of true unity, both with men and with God. Look at this passage in context and you will see it is clear.

When Israel fell into Baal worship, she didn't stop thinking she was worshiping Jehovah. It was Jehovah + that God called harlotry/adultery.

That is the Biblical definition... Over and over, everywhere you look... God+... It is considered "deserting God for harlotry"

Psalm 73:26My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. 27For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. 28But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.
Right now, God is purifying His church. He has put the entire global church into a divine setup to find faith. What is your plan to endure this time?

Is it God + something? If so, you are being sifted out of the Bride.

If it is getting rid of everything but God as your hope and strength, you are being sifted in to the true unity of the "great cloud of witnesses" described in Hebrews 11... The Bride... The unity Jesus prayed for in John 17... Unity by sanctification. Unity by division. Out of corruption and double-mindedness. In to single trust and pure devotion. This sanctification wi cause you to do and say things that sound radically different from world. You will stick out like a lamp in the dark. Your solution different, your vision different, your speech different. The world, and especially the worldly church, will hate you and let you know it. Jesus says this is how you know you are becoming ready for rewards!

Matthew 5:10Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12“Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. 13“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

You should be starting to shine as radically different right now. The world is becoming incredibly dark.

If your plan and vision of this moment it is anything but drawing near to God, trusting Him more, getting more pure in your worship of and witness of Jesus... setting your heart for meeting together, and more and more as you see the day approaching... If it is God +, you need to repent if you want to be part of the first resurrection.

Hebrews 11:32And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. 39And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

They would have never chosen social distancing as their strength (though they were lawful). They wouldn't have hoped for a vaccine, or to get back to normal life. They saw something else approaching. A heavenly country, a perfect salvation without compromise. They refused to add anything to God to save them. I'm not talking about breaking the rules, I'm talking about being sure in your heart that man's rules won't work, and testifying, being a witness to one salvation. Are you shining in the truth that only Jesus can save and that this will get worse before it is better BECAUSE there is only one salvation?

Hebrews 12:1Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.

Jesus has begun thoroughly cleaning His threshing floor.

Matthew 3:10“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Jesus is removing every branch that doesn't fully abide in Him. Everyone that does will bear fruit. The removed branches will be burned in the fire. This is the threshing. This is the falling away.

He will not stop until he has finished finding out who wants only Him. The coming days will get MUCH harder for double-minded believers. The delusion promised is that they won't know they are double minded until it's too late. In arrogance, they did not believe it was possible for them to be rejected as wholehearted lovers. Sincere is different than wholehearted. Many adulterers sincerely believe they love the spouse they cheat on.

Matthew 7:20“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Those that risk it all on Jesus and get hated for it will also get much more power-filled! To him who has, more is given. Both the wheat and the tares are emerging.

Which are we?

1 John 4:17Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

If you are hoping this day of trouble turns back, that the government gets it together, that we can put off the day of trouble with our own science and strength... enjoy a few more years without Jesus... Then love isn't perfected. It's still corrupted with other lovers.

It isn't too late to repent until it's too late.

2 Thessalonians 2:3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Jesus isn't desperate for a bride. He is glorious. His standards are quite high. He is willing to help anyone that wants to meet those standards, but it requires saying no to every other love, salvation, spirit, baptism... It means you spend yourself contending for a better resurrection. He will keep all those who do. He will reject all those who don't.

Many are called, few are chosen.

Matthew 22:8“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9‘Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10“So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12“So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13“Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
