Misinformation and The Clarity In Abiding
Misinformation is rapidly increasing.
Reacting to the events happening around me is the worst thing I can do since reactions can easily steer me into more misinformation. We have to have a tether to truth.
Hebrews 6:18-20 NKJV — that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
The Bible calls this anchor to truth "abiding in God."
John 15:4-6 NKJV — “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
This means the most important thing you can do is learn to hear and believe God in real time.
Memorizing the Bible won't help you without knowing God. Almost everyone who wrote the Bible didn't own one! They knew God and recorded what He said. We must be the same.
Luke 21:14-15 NKJV — “Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.
Jesus' entire ministry was to be a SHEPHERD... to become our leader, not give us tools for better self-leadership. Living prophetically isn't a nice add-on to life, it's essential to stay grounded when strong delusion is being poured out on the earth.
Reading the Bible is much different than letting God read you. I love my Bible and read it daily, but it cannot replace God himself. The Bible isn't God. He is God of the Bible.
John 5:39-40 NKJV — “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. “But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
We have to be rooted and grounded in the truth of God's love, which is alive, dynamic, and willing to lead us. Jesus IS the:
-Way
-Truth
-Life
Self-salvation is a lie. If man could just get the right information into his brain to be saved, then there wouldnt be a sinless Man, who let His will be put aside to do God's will unto His own death, and then BEAT death to show us that God's will is truly the only life that will endure forever.
If I use the Bible to make my life better I am not following Jesus. Satan tempted Jesus to use the Bible to make His life better. Satan takes God's word and turns it into his own tool to try to lead man into self-righteousness. Jesus refused that way of life.
John 5:19 NKJV — Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
Jesus LIVED in God's real time leadership and showed Himself to be what the Bible was about! See the difference?
Adam and Eve had all the right information. The problem is the crooked and corrupt heart that wants to be God and control our own destiny. We weren't made for that. We were made to be PROVIDED for... Like a son or daughter of a great king.
All the false information is like a wandering, dissipating, stream that eventually disappears. It's a mirage. Many are making impatient decisions based on false information and causing others to react... Whole masses of people are becoming disillusioned and eventually delusional... When the trickle of false disappears and the truth is revealed, all those that were reacting and falling into darkness will be offended, not comforted. Most will be so turned around that they will fight against Jesus at His return, thinking they serve the real God, which is a delusion... Just like the first time Jesus came.
Revelation 6:14-17 NKJV — Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
Make peace with Him now. While there is time. Everything is ok with God. On earth, there is great confusion. If we, in faith, enter the throne room of heaven, there is amazing peace and confidence. Things aren't really "going sideways," man is becoming erratic and unstable as God unfolds HIS perfect plans to return.
Isaiah 28:21-22 The LORD will come as he did against the Philistines at Mount Perazim and against the Amorites at Gibeon. He will come to do a strange thing; he will come to do an unusual deed: (22) For the Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, has plainly said that he is determined to crush the whole land. So scoff no more, or your punishment will be even greater.
God's ways are very different from ours. Misunderstanding God's plans leads to confusion, wrong expectations, offense, and eventually delusion. The only way out of delusion is to abide... To literally sit before God and let Him define your reality for you... Prayer meetings designed to listen to God, not tell Him what to do.
God loves you. He wants everything you see and hear to be filtered through His love, sovereignty, and His willingness to help. Once I settle in to who He is, and who He says I am, then I can settle down and listen to Him untangle my shame, fear, pride, uncertainty...
This is why Jesus went in to the wilderness to pray and why David went into the Tabernacle to see things rightly:
Psalm 73:1-28 NKJV — A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no pangs in their death, But their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men, Nor are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment. Their eyes bulge with abundance; They have more than heart could wish. They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth. Therefore his people return here, And waters of a full cup are drained by them. And they say, “How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?” Behold, these are the ungodly, Who are always at ease; They increase in riches. Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, And washed my hands in innocence. For all day long I have been plagued, And chastened every morning. If I had said, “I will speak thus,” Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children. When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me— Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.
If you follow David and Yeshua into the Tabernacle, you will see rightly. This isn't something you do when things are falling apart. No! Like Noah's ark, you have to get into the safe place before the rain and floods come down. Noah was in the ark a week before it rained and built the ark when rain had never even been seen before.
It's sprinkling right now. It's about to pour. Find the Tabernacle now if you want understanding when truth falls in the street for real.
The world is drifting from God. Most of the church doesn't take the time to hear Him, they just want more information... More mantras to repeat as they lead themselves and each other to more rebellion... A few are coming out of the world with everything. Find them. Find the ones that don't want to save themselves using "Gods word", but give themselves to God to be saved by His actual words to them that cut through the darkness. Find those who listen more than they speak and rest more than they do.
God's arm is plenty strong to save, but He won't make anyone rest in it...
Isaiah 59:1-21 NKJV — Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity. No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity. They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; He who eats of their eggs dies, And from that which is crushed a viper breaks out. Their webs will not become garments, Nor will they cover themselves with their works; Their works are works of iniquity, And the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace. Therefore justice is far from us, Nor does righteousness overtake us; We look for light, but there is darkness! For brightness, but we walk in blackness! We grope for the wall like the blind, And we grope as if we had no eyes; We stumble at noonday as at twilight; We are as dead men in desolate places. We all growl like bears, And moan sadly like doves; We look for justice, but there is none; For salvation, but it is far from us. For our transgressions are multiplied before You, And our sins testify against us; For our transgressions are with us, And as for our iniquities, we know them: In transgressing and lying against the LORD, And departing from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay. So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the LORD. “As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.”
