Consecration

Greater consecration leads to greater revelation. God gives food to the hungry. He came to help those who see their need and actively pursue Him to fill the lack. If you believe you have no need, then you get way less food, if any.

This is because God will not violate the restraints of love...He will not violate your desire to give you even the treasures of the kingdom. If you aren't looking you will not find. If you aren't knocking, the door doesn't open for you, if you aren't asking, you won't receive. Doing the simple discipline of actively "wanting" and "waiting" is a requirement to get the treasures of the kingdom:

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

God is so powerful, that if He whispered "you will know me", you would HAVE to know Him. If Jesus hadn't said "Lazarus, come out" on the day He raised Lazarus, the whole graveyard would have given up its dead. For this reason, God waits for you to engage.

If you are lacking revelation of what is happening in the world from a Biblical perspective...what I mean is that if you can't see how NUMEROUS prophecies are being fulfilled right now (and they are) and what it means for you and your family, then perhaps you really aren't asking?... this would be really bad in this hour. One of the promises to the disciples is that many BELIEVERS would suffer great loss if they didn't care to know when Jesus was coming:

Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

How can you watch if you don't know what to watch for? How can you know if you aren't actively asking, seeking and knocking?

Jesus' return should be THE most important topic on every believers mind. But, the truth is many are just fine to live without Him as long as they can believe He will keep making them comfortable. Let me tell you plainly, by the Word of God: the comfort is going so you can see that being comfortable in His house without Him home is way less than what HE wants! He DESIRES to be with us here:

John 17:24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

He won't violate OUR desire to come, and He will only come when the people of the earth desire Him!

Matthew 23:39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord !’ ”

So, Jesus, what will it take to get the people of the earth to desire you?...to invite you to come home?

The answer: seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. Jesus has a brilliant plan to use the least intense means necessary, to reach the greatest number of people, at the deepest heart level, without EVER violating their free will or their own personal desire. Everyone gets what they want. If you want to ignore the clear signs of His return, then He will let you be further convinced by more intensity. If you let yourself be convinced, He will give you a grace to see. This is where the whole thing IS going...for sure:

Isaiah 24:1-16 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left. The new wine fails, the vine languishes, All the merry-hearted sigh. The mirth of the tambourine ceases, The noise of the jubilant ends, The joy of the harp ceases. They shall not drink wine with a song; Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it. The city of confusion is broken down; Every house is shut up, so that none may go in. There is a cry for wine in the streets, All joy is darkened, The mirth of the land is gone. In the city desolation is left, And the gate is stricken with destruction. When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people, It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing; For the majesty of the Lord They shall cry aloud from the sea. Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light, The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: “Glory to the righteous!” But I said, “I am ruined, ruined! Woe to me! The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously, Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”

Do you see the two camps in this passage? One mourning and one singing? Jesus wants everyone to sing through the convincing of the world that it needs Him, but clearly not everyone shares His desire.

Listen, everyone who has this hope...this overriding desire... to see the Owner of the house come home before we bust open the chips, lay on His couch and put our feet up on His footstool...they PURIFY themselves to make their lives more and more about what He is about. These are the ones who will sing through the devastation:

I John 3:2-3 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

What is it you want?

Psalms 24:1-6 The earth is the Lord ’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord , And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah
