Acceleration of Intensity
I hear the Lord saying that time and intensity are both accelerating in a way right now that can be felt but not measured, but by the middle of the summer, many will be dismayed or excited about how quickly events that mark the return of Jesus have advanced. Your experience of the accelerating process for joy or fear will be entirely dependant upon your desire for understanding of the unusual thing the Lord is doing in this hour.
Isaiah 28:21-22 For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon— That He may do His work, His awesome work, And bring to pass His act, His unusual act. Now therefore, do not be mockers, Lest your bonds be made strong; For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts, A destruction determined even upon the whole earth.
Many mockers will be made stronger in their mocking, the distracted will become more distracted, those sleeping will be made stronger in their blissful ignorance only to be jarred awake at an inopportune time, but those with soft hearts... those willing to agree with God by watching and praying will be made ready...
Mark 14:37-41 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him. Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
The Bride shall be betrayed. It is written. You see it happening all around you. If you will not watch and pray, you will follow Peter into denial, though he claimed his readiness to die.
Matthew 24:7-14 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
There is great grace to get what you want in this hour. The Lord asks what is it you desire?
I Thessalonians 5:1-8 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
