Confusion

World events are only going to get more confusing. The Bible will be the only clear lense to look through. This is intentional...intended to get the world to actually look through. Confusion will drive the humble to truth.

Those who refuse to look through the lense of the Bible will find themselves without any understanding of what is actually happening. Just look at Russia, the US, Iran and Syria. Through the lens of the Bible it is easier to make sense of what is seemingly a senseless situation.

2 Thessalonians 2:9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

You are literally witnessing the emergence of the antichrist. He displays himself as weak to consolidate power. He's not dumb...he is brilliant from the standpoint of human cleverness...he is orchestrating an enormous amount political and military movements based nearly entirely on deception:

Daniel 8:23“And in the latter time of their kingdom,

When the transgressors have reached their fullness,

A king shall arise,

Having fierce features,

Who understands sinister schemes.

24His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;

He shall destroy fearfully,

And shall prosper and thrive;

He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.

25“Through his cunning

He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;

And he shall exalt himself in his heart.

He shall destroy many in their prosperity.

He shall even rise against the Prince of princes;

But he shall be broken without human means.

For 2,500 years an hour of deciet has been promised. You are in it...but do you know it? Do you know the truth that clears up the haze of deceit? If you are like most of us, the answer is "no". To go over and over the initial truths of salvation, but never get to the meat...the intense truth of the realities of where the earth is headed...it has left many starving before a long marathon. We need food...now. The most confusing time earth has ever seen emerges from this hour, which ushers the antichrist into a position of temporary authority...

From earth's view, from the back rooms of the halls of fallen government, the antichrist is brilliant...but from heaven's standpoint, the antichrist is literally ushering in the events that will prepare the earth to receive Jesus!

Isaiah 29:10For the LORD has poured out on you

The spirit of deep sleep,

And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets;

And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.

11The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”

12Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate.”

13Therefore the Lord said:

“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths

And honor Me with their lips,

But have removed their hearts far from Me,

And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

14Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work

Among this people,

A marvelous work and a wonder;

For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,

And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

In the middle of all this right now is Syria...the third horn... She is falling as we watch:

Daniel 7:19“Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet;

20“and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.

21“I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them,

22“until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

23“Thus he said:

‘The fourth beast shall be

A fourth kingdom on earth,

Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,

And shall devour the whole earth,

Trample it and break it in pieces.

24The ten horns are ten kings

Who shall arise from this kingdom.

And another shall rise after them;

He shall be different from the first ones,

And shall subdue three kings.

25He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,

Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,

And shall intend to change times and law.

Then the saints shall be given into his hand

For a time and times and half a time.

The first horn was Egypt, the second Libya, the Third is Syria. What do the three all have in common? They were all secular leaders in the middle east that were holding an uncomfortable, yet stable equilibrium for Israel. The foundations of the stability are being broken up.

Following the fall of the third horn, war against Christians will erupt globally...are you ready? Many think, like Peter, they are willing to die...

If I wont die to myself today...being generous, forgiving, loving my enemy, going the extra mile....fasting....praying night and day....giving everything to Jesus' plan to return, walking by faith and not eyesight, then I am not really ready to die for Jesus. It will never be easier than today to die for him in the little, but most significant ways.

Jesus doesn't want my body to die...he wants my heart to die to self, so he can resurrect it in glory...
