Neutrality

The Lord is not neutral...His eyes search to and fro looking for hearts loyal to Himself so he might show himself strong in their behalf. It is easy to think that God is neutral about all who simply name His name. He is not.

Often, there is a delay between injustice and vindication. It is in this time period that God's mercy is really on display. God is merciful, not neutral, towards those who perpetrate injustice, even in His name... he gives them time to repent:

Revelation 2:20“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

21“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

22“Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.

Unfortunately, many see the patience of the Lord as His tacit approval of their bad behavior. They arrogantly believe His mercy is approval, or even favor, and that God does not judge their rebellion. He always sees, and He always judges. His delay is two fold...He shows mercy towards the lawless, and, to instruct in righteousness, simultaneously brings maturity to those who cry out for vengeance, as they learn to wait on His perfect timing and leadership

Psalm 94:1O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs—

O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!

2Rise up, O Judge of the earth;

Render punishment to the proud.

3LORD, how long will the wicked,

How long will the wicked triumph?

4They utter speech, and speak insolent things;

All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves.

5They break in pieces Your people, O LORD,

And afflict Your heritage.

6They slay the widow and the stranger,

And murder the fatherless.

7Yet they say, “The LORD does not see,

Nor does the God of Jacob understand.”

8Understand, you senseless among the people;

And you fools, when will you be wise?

9He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?

He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

10He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct,

He who teaches man knowledge?

11The LORD knows the thoughts of man,

That they are futile.

God will eventually vindicate the meek by His presence. The ultimate vindication is to stand with the king in HIS authority, not be elevated in the sight of the other children, who mostly lack authority to actually carry out their rebellious plans:

Psalm 17:1A Prayer of David.

Hear a just cause, O LORD,

Attend to my cry;

Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.

2Let my vindication come from Your presence;

Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.

3You have tested my heart;

You have visited me in the night;

You have tried me and have found nothing;

I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

4Concerning the works of men,

By the word of Your lips,

I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.

5Uphold my steps in Your paths,

That my footsteps may not slip

We are coming very near the hour that truth, which has been mostly hidden behind the veil, will be more and more plainly displayed. God is bringing truth out to put it on display. The schemes, slander, and lies will be laid bare. Not only does God see, His desire is that ALL will see:

Revelation 2:23“I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

This is a message to the Church!

Now is the time to get ready to stand in the full light of truth...to repent of areas we thought "God does not see".... And to stand firm that God's vindication, which is His presence, will rest upon those whose desire was His kingdom even at the expense of their own good name, and not the building of their own little kingdom in His name:

Zephaniah 3:18“I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,

Who are among you,

To whom its reproach is a burden.

19Behold, at that time

I will deal with all who afflict you;

I will save the lame,

And gather those who were driven out;

I will appoint them for praise and fame

In every land where they were put to shame.

20At that time I will bring you back,

Even at the time I gather you;

For I will give you fame and praise

Among all the peoples of the earth,

When I return your captives before your eyes,”

Says the LORD.

I hear the Lord saying a mighty rushing wind is coming...it will winnow and gather all the true grains who love His appearing...Who love truth. It will show as faithful those who have uncovered, or agreed with the light of truth, even in the steady pressure from those who try to cover up...those who say "God does not see."

Even so, come Lord.
