Faith

This is what faith sounds like:

John 5:25“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.

26The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.

27And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.

28Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son,

29and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.

The fullness of this statement would happen more than 2,000 years after Jesus made it. But, it was true from the moment the Father whispered it to Jesus and Jesus spoke it on earth.

No one knew these words to be true at the time but Jesus and the Father.

This is the relationship we are invited into. Jesus is the firstborn of many. As He was in the world, so should His followers be!

1 John 2:27But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

28And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

God knows more about the fulfillment of His words than I do. I simply need to learn to trust Him and say the true things He shows me, even if no one knows or believes them but He and I. If God says something, I don't need to evaluate whether or not I can see it actually happening before I let myself really believe it. I don't have to wait and see if it is really true. I simply need to agree that it is true, take a risk, called faith, and verbally agree with it on earth, and let God arrange the events to prove His own words in His own timing.

People ask me all the time "what is the most practical thing to do to get ready for the end times?"

You don't need to buy anything, sell anything, quit anything, or join anything to get ready for the end times. The first and most important thing to learn to do in this hour is to hear and believe God. Every other direction will flow from that simple foundation. If you can't hear God, you can't follow Him...

John 10:27“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

28“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

29“My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

30“I and My Father are one.”

The earth has a spiritual problem, related to submitting to Jesus' leadership, not a physical one. Rebelling against Jesus' leadership is what is actually causing all of the physical problems we see.

You can't solve spiritual problems with physical solutions. Addressing the spiritual problem is the answer.
