Night

This is a picture. The Bride is like the moon, and the Bridegroom, Jesus, is like the sun. The Bride is coming into a time where she will mature and rule over the darkest night in anticipation of her groom. Day and night is very important. We learn in the brightness of day, as we hear the words of our beloved, but we show that we have obtained knowledge in the night, in the seeming absence of our groom.

Psalm19:2Day unto day utters speech,

And night unto night reveals knowledge.

There is a reason God spent the "cool of the day" with Adam and Eve. Heaven is not like many imagine. It isn't forced presence. It is an eternity of hearing, and learning, and releasing revelation. Day unto day... As heaven emerges, our capacity to be one will increase until there is no separation...until there is no Night. And Jesus' prayer will be answered...to completely share His inheritance with His beloved.

Night is falling even as the day is breaking. Do you know what to release in the night? Are you ready?

Genesis 1:16Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.

17God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,

18and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Song of Songs 6:10Who is she who looks forth as the morning,

The heavens declare the glory of God;

And the firmament shows His handiwork.

2Day unto day utters speech,

And night unto night reveals knowledge.

3There is no speech nor language

Where their voice is not heard.

4Their line has gone out through all the earth,

And their words to the end of the world.

In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,

5Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,

And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.

6Its rising is from one end of heaven,

And its circuit to the other end;

And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;

The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;

The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;

Romans 5:3And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

4and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Matthew 26:39He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

40Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What? Could you not watch with Me one hour?

41“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

42Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

43And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.

Revelation 12:10Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

11“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

12“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Revelation 22:1And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

4They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

5There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

This is why the Bride needs to be ready to mature in tribulation...or night...not hide from it.

Matthew 25:5“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

7“Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

8“And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

9“But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
