Faith
Delusional people see everything falling into place, even if it isn't.
Faithful people believe God, even when they can't see exactly how it all fits.
How do you know what is true? Fruit. That's the only way. Has the word God spoke worked to produce righteousness, selflessness, and truth in your life? Then it is a good word, no matter how hard it is to believe.
If it hasn't produced these things, it is a lie, no matter how true it seems.
Matthew 7:14“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Strong delusion is increasing. The biggest problem with delusion is that the worse it gets the more undetected it becomes.
2 Thessalonians 2:7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,
14to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.
16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,
17comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
You can't lie, manipulate, grow in arrogance, and impatience and not grow in delusion in this hour. It's impossible. If you walk with or follow people that are blind, you'll both fall into a ditch.
Matthew 15:12Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
13But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
14“Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”
Delusional believers want the same things the faithful want, they just believe in a way other than Jesus to accomplishing the promises Jesus made to them....they are unfaithful. They have the promises and anointing, like Saul, they lack the loyalty to Jesus and truth...they will fall away if they don't repent.
