Delusion
if tribulation is hard to see, great tribulation is HARDER to see.
The Bible promises strong delusion.
2 Thessalonians 2:7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
That means as it unfolds keeping a grip on the reality of what is happening will be harder. The fourth terror attack in 20 days just hit the UK. Simultaneously other terror attacks unfolded in Mali and Israel.
ISIS (Assyria) is being stamped out by an odd coalition of Babylon (US) and the Medes (Russia) with Persia in the wings (Iran). That means Babylon takes over next and then gets attacked by the Medes and Persians. History is literally repeating...just as the Bible describes. The JV team is done and varsity is coming on the scene....literally right now.
The US is literally at war with Syria and Iran is lobbing missiles within miles of our troops on the Syria Iraq border. Sunni Egypt is calling for the Sunni resistance in Iraq to stop fighting the Shia regime. The order of the middle East is literally disintegrating before our eyes as Qatar is suddenly isolated from the rest of the Sunni world and aligning with Shia Iran.
Every promise made from 2008 through 2016 was broken in less than two weeks from May 22 through about June 4. World order has literally been upended.
This IS Great Tribulation.
The love of many is growing cold.
False prophets are rising up to deceive many.
Our kids are in a suicide epidemic that is more and more being fueled by the sale of media to them. Depression is rampant. Murder is increasing all around us at the local level in several cities.
What did you think it would look like? How much did you think it would take to love Jesus with abandon?...to really get outside of normal to give Him everything?
That is the saddest part. It shouldn't take anything more than the cross to get our hearts there. But at exactly the wrong minute, suddenly nothing is enough. Offense is setting in.
In this moment of time the Bible promises many would begin to run out of zeal and comfort themselves with the fact Jesus wasn't coming yet...they would begin to attack those who know He is...giving the others the right food at the right time.
Matthew 24:44“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
45“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46“Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
47“Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.
48“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’
49“and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50“the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,
51“and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
At this exact same time, many would find themselves running out of oil...burning through the night would stop making sense...they would go to others to try to find new reasons...new oil...to burn. Those they go to would sell it, rather than teach how to get it from heaven. These are the false prophets who minister for their own gain:
Matthew 25:1“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2“Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3“Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
4“but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
7“Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8“And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
9“But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
10“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
12“But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
