Didomi
Revelation 13:16It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
The word translated "receive" is the Greek word "Didomi". Didomi means to both give and to receive.
This is what the word actually means in the Bible. This is how the mark of the beast is transferred. Most likely, you give the mark and receive something from it...which is an identity that allows you to buy and sell.
The word Didomi is used 413 times in the Bible. 365 of those times it means to give, not to receive. Have you ever considered that the mark is something you give and that marks you?
From Blue Letter Bible:
"KJV Translation Count: 413x
The KJV translates Strongs G1325 in the following manner: give (365x), grant (10x), put (5x), show (4x), deliver (2x), make (2x), misc (25x)."
"Receive" is one of the 25 miscellaneous translations of this Biblically common word, which, the vast majority of the time, means to "give."
"Outline of Biblical Usage:

The mark/seal of God works the same way. You give God your agreement and he marks you for heaven.
Rev 14:1Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
2And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.
3And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.
Rev 7:2Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:
3“Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
Ephesians 4:29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
When you were sealed, did anyone see the mark placed on you? Can you grieve the Holy Spirit by giving yourself to another?
This is what the mark of the beast is...it is giving your identity in exchange for the ability to use 💰... It's harlotry. You give it to get it.
