Seeing Prophecy Fulfilled
The reason we miss seeing prophetic fulfillment is because we assume we can see it without God's help...with fact rather than faith.
This is the root of the fallacy: We can't see anything without God's help...not even this screen. Sight is a miracle from beginning to end. If we would simply ask God to show us His Son returning we would see so much more. Most don't, but you will never know without that simple request being made often.
Matthew 13:13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
Right now many are careening into delusion because they simply can't see the obvious. Jesus is returning MUCH sooner than most imagine. Pre-trib or post-trib doesn't matter if you are unable to discern the trib part....as in the days of Noah.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (11) And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, (12) that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Many are slipping back from a wholehearted pursuit of Jesus. This is a MASSIVE mistake. There is no calming down, pacing yourself, chilling out, taking a break. There is love, and there is rejection of love. The more love you are given the more you MUST respond for it to be love in return. The more understanding and response you are given grace for, the more you have to have in the future. Love grows. It never stays static. Because it's alive, it's either growing or dying.
Hebrews 6:1-8 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, (2) of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (3) And this we will do if God permits. (4) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, (5) and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, (6) if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. (7) For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; (8) but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
