Broken. Open.

People don't burn out from giving their lives to God.  People burn out from trying to live two lives.

The truly free are broken open and poured out.  The earth has never seen a man more alive than Jesus.  He was just Himself. Everywhere He went. Nothing to prove, not trying to build/keep/protect an identity, not establishing anything other than a daily history of obedience that came from abiding in the Father.

His unwillingness to be self willed ... To be weak and let God be strong... THAT, even to this day, IS His strength.  Who else can say this?:

John 5:19 NLT — So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.

Because this is completely true for Yeshua, so is this:

John 14:9 NLT — Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

The uncreated Father flowed through the incarnate Son because of the choices Jesus made to be led, not powerful.  He invites me to the same life... To the same death.

The cross wasn't Yeshua's weakest moment, though He was crucified in weakness:

2 Corinthians 13:4 NLT — Although he was crucified in weakness, he now lives by the power of God. We, too, are weak, just as Christ was, but when we deal with you we will be alive with him and will have God’s power.

The cross was when the power of heaven fully manifested in the life given to God.  Who else has the humility to chose to let God back into the earth through their own yielded will? Jesus didn't feed the shame of the flesh, He despised and killed it.

Why be ashamed of what God made?  That's the most delusional expression of pride! We are all weak. The truly free embrace that they are dust without God.

All the failures we see manifesting in the earth are the myriad symptoms of one disease: self will.

Almost everyone is covering up who they really are, burning out from a vain attempt to be two things: who they are and who they want everyone to think they are.

I can go ahead and just be weak! I am free to be me.  That is the beauty of the kingdom of God. Adam and Eve wanted to be something other than who they were made to be. Yeshua made a way for me to get back into God's design for me.

Sadly, even in the church: managing a reputation, grooming a following, building momentum, putting on church faces and running human races.  Trying to keep up, get in, spread out, impact, influence, lead, "pour out praise"... Striving to pour something out isn't really pouring anything.  Praise comes pouring out of a broken thing... So much trying and so little dying.

God.Doesn't.Need.Anything.From.Man.

No one really fights their battle by shaking heaven.  Lucifer wanted to conquer the heavenly realm. Jesus yields.

No. If you really want the victory from Jesus, follow Him into letting the Father give YOU something: a humility to just be weak... Broken open... Dead to all the trying and free and open to all the filling God wants to do.

We are what God made us to be.  Half of the battle is accepting it, the other half is embracing it!

I am like a seed. All the DNA of who I'm gonna' be is hidden inside of me. It just needs the right place, the right light... The right amount of time just waiting... To be broken, so all the life can come flowing out.

I want to be a man broken, open and free... Not trying, striving, empty, but still squeezing the last drops out of my humanity.

Ravenous wolves present themselves one way, but inside are another way.  The true children of God die daily, take up a cross, and follow Yeshua... Despising the shame, truly getting a name forever... Not now among the fickle.  Forever with the Father.

Philippians 2:5-11 NLT — You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God,

he did not think of equality with God

as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;

he took the humble position of a slave

and was born as a human being.

When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God

and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor

and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.
