What God Requires of Me to Grow

There are some things we do and some things God does.

Our flesh wants to do God's part and neglect our own part. God will not do our part. He refuses.  We must do our part and we cannot do His part.

We make the space in our heart for God's grace by faith.  We believe in what He shows us, tells us, where He leads us... We choose to believe these are good when our flesh says, "no!"

We prepare our heart, by choosing to humble ourselves back into our right place with God.

If we refuse, we abort God's plans for our good future.

God does everything else.

*God orchestrates our circumstances, both the North and south wind, to show us our need for Him.

*God provides

*God heals

*God defends

*God establishes

*God makes us righteous

*God makes us aware of His presence

*God sets us in families

*God teaches us His way

*God shares with us His power

All of these^ are aborted when we refuse to prepare our heart in truth for grace.

Our mouth reveals what's really going on in our heart.

Proverbs 16:1-4 NKJV — The preparations of the heart belong to man,

But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,

But the LORD weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the LORD,

And your thoughts will be established. The LORD has made all for Himself,

Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

Right now, the best thing we can be is open to God's correction.  That makes us ready to accept all of God's grace, which we need in these last days.

1 Peter 1:1-12 NKJV — Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,

To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

Grace to you and peace be multiplied. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

Without the grace prophesied, even the elect will be deceived by self-saving, self-righteousness, and the delusion that follows on their heel's.
