One of the great tragedies in life is wasted time. Time is one of the most undervalued commodities when you are a kid, and the older you get, you feel the weight of the value of time more and more. Time moves faster the older you get. I can remember when 6 months might as well have been 6 years, it seemed to take so long (I'm picturing waiting to turn 16...that 15th year seemed like a decade at the time). Now, at 42 years old, 6 months passes in a scary fast way. Most people, if you are really blessed, are working with about 70 years... Psalms 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. That is...3,640 weeks...25,480 days... 611,520 hours of time the Psalmist calls a time of "labor". It isn't that your existence ends when the last hour flips by...but you only have that much time to labor...to get your heart prepared for eternity. Yo...

Did you know there are different kinds of prayer? Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-- The Tabernacle of David is a very SPECIFIC KIND of prayer. It is ordered based on God's government. The WAY David's Tabernacle was executed is very important. It's easy to make your own "faith" a false God. If you believe that everything you think you hear from the Lord is right and unable to be wrong, soon you will find yourself a slave to what you hear. We want to go in the opposite spirit...we want to be kids and let God be dad. It is important to hear God...the most important thing...because without hearing Him you really don't have much of a relationship with Him. But then, we need to grow in our understanding of His heart. He isn't a task master, He's a Father. He wants us to grow in our knowledge of Him. This is a picture. The Bride is like the moon, and the Bridegroom, Jesus, is like the sun. The Bride is coming into a time where she will mature and rule over the darkest night in anticipation of her groom. Day and night is very important. We learn in the brightness of day, as we hear the words of our beloved, but we show that we have obtained knowledge in the night, in the seeming absence of our groom. Psalm19:2Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is a reason God spent the "cool of the day" with Adam and Eve. Heaven is not like many imagine. It isn't forced presence. It is an eternity of hearing, and learning, and releasing revelation. Day unto day...
