Tribulation and The End Time Babylon

These are two ideas I have written out that I feel the Lord's prompting to share again:

1. That the USA is the end-time Babylon in the Bible. Many teach that the USA is not mentioned in the Bible and I think the opposite is true. I believe the USA is extensively described in the Bible, and the implications of this are immense.

2. That the 7-year tribulation has recently begun. This is the final 7-year period leading up to the return of Jesus. Again, this period of time is extensively described in the Bible. The Church has the most significant role to play during this time period and very few understand what this time is, the specific and IMMENSE response that is required, and the glorious promises tied to it for Jesus' Bride.

The end time revival many are contending for comes WITH the worst end time trouble. Revival comes when the Bride NEEDS revival.

Jesus described this dynamic as the maturing of the wheat (righteousness) along side the weeds (rebellion) in the parable of the wheat and the tares. Both darkness and light mature TOGETHER until the time of the harvest, when the weeds are pulled first and burned. Many expect Jesus to remove the wheat first, then burn up the tares. But heaven is coming here, and according to the Bible, the wheat is staying! I believe we are just beginning to enter into the greatest season of harvest the earth has ever seen.

Matthew 13:30, 38-43 NKJV

Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’

” The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

These are uncomfortable ideas, and not commonly held, for sure. BUT, I personally have become convinced of them. I believe that simply stating them them clearly now will be crucial to increasing faith as the intensity, the maturing of the wheat and tares, increases. The end of the age isn't just positive, or just negative...it is the fullness of both! Jesus said "watch, pray, and be READY..."

I am sharing these in faith and what I believe to be obedience in helping the Bride "get ready." I could be wrong about the exact time, but I personally believe that I have heard the Lord clearly both on the need to write these out and share them in my spheres of influence.

I'm just a guy who thinks some things. I am not a pastor or a theologian. I have no formal Bible training. No one should take my word (or anyone else's word) for anything. This is simply a collection of ideas that may be useful in considering these concepts for yourself, with your own Bible, and your own conversation with God.

Whether I am right or wrong, I believe these Biblical concepts will become more and more important to understand in the coming months and years.
