Two Camps
The Book of Revelation describes two camps vying for the same ground that will culminate in the most intense time earth has ever seen. The two camps are the camp of the Bride...the pure and rightful co-heir of the earth...and the harlot...the false bride....the imposter.
Revelation 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
Revelation 19:7-8 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
One has a right to partner with Jesus to rule the earth and one will offer herself to the earth apart from agreement with Jesus...apart from the covenant that renews the earth. This is the question that the earth is actually deciding that will grow in intensity over the next few years: who actually has the ability to bring justice and equity to the earth? Jesus or a man-based government?
Being the "Bride of Christ" isn't a gender concept. Both men and women are the Bride of Christ. It isn't mostly about affectionate love, although without love you cannot be a Bride. Being the Bride of Christ is mostly about being a legal...a covenant...co-heir with Jesus. It is a legal relationship born out of a covenant commitment. It is on the Groom to love His Bride. It is on the Bride to respect Her Groom. This is the "marriage economy" of love and respect:
Ephesians 5:25, 33 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,... Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
A huge part of respecting the Groom is "being about His business"...walking "lock-step" in the same things the groom is about. The Bride is really floundering in many ways with respect to this idea in this hour. Many who are a part of the Bride...whether they know it or not...are like a spoiled "Hollywood" wife. They mostly think the Groom's business is making their lives more comfortable, making them more successful, making them look good...and that while He is doing that, He will also do "His thing" while they go to the salon. No. This is not reality. This is not respect. Jesus lavishes love either way...but He is searching for a Bride that is seriously...completely...about His business.
This is Jesus' business: Bringing His Government Back to Earth. This is what Jesus is ALL about.
The earth is His inheritance, and He wants to take possession of it...for His sake, for the sake of His Father, and for the sake of His Bride. Earth is broken...stolen...until He possess it. His Bride is supposed to be ENTIRELY about what He is about.
Jesus is so serious about His "co-heir" taking "co-responsibility" for the inheritance that He left her to get the whole thing rolling. He wants her fully invested in that which she is a co-heir. In Acts 2, we see a fully invested Bride. Those men and women laid down their lives and went after what Jesus was all about...manifesting...enforcing...a righteous and just merciful government on earth in advance of the groom returning. This is what Jesus told them to do:
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Luke 24:46-49 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”
The Bride is supposed to be about bringing righteousness and justice...Jesus' government based in love...to earth. This doesn't mean partnering with existing governmental entities. Jesus didn't say "infiltrate the existing halls of government"...Jesus said "tarry until power comes from on high." This is so simple, but we have greatly confused it. The Bride in Acts 2 simply worshiped and prayed night and day until power came, and then they took that power and went out and began manifesting the government of Jesus in the streets. She was about HIS business...because this is exactly what He did...He showed His Bride the way. That is what the Gospel is all about.
Right now, the false bride...the prostitute...is beginning to offer the world what the true Bride was supposed to be doing all along. We have been distracted.
The prostitute wants the Bride's job. The prostitute wants to bring a "righteous and just" government to earth APART from a covenant relationship with the groom. This is the "social justice" movement of our day. The social justice apart from Jesus is a cup that looks good, but inside that cup is death...rebellion...abomination:
Revelation 17:4-5 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
There is no peace apart from the Prince of Peace. There is no equity that isn't completely aligned with the One who owns everything. There is no good government that doesn't completely agree with the King of Kings, yet this is what the world is being offered by the prostitute.
The Bible promises that the whole earth is going to rally around the idea that man can get together and do some good stuff...clean water, end human trafficking, bring peace to the middle east, redistribute wealth properly...all while bringing all the faiths of the earth together..."we are all worshiping the same God anyway," they will say.
NO! We are not worshiping the same God. There is a man...the Man Christ Jesus...who owns the legal right to everything. He bought it with His own unjust death, and He is going to share it with His LEGAL Bride. The one who is about His business in COMPLETE loyalty to His name...to truth. The truth is, I can free a person from a pimp, but if they don't know Jesus, they still aren't free. I can give someone clean water to drink, but if they don't know Jesus, they are still going to die. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. That is never going to change.
Because the Bride and the Harlot both are working toward the same goal, this is a VERY confusing time for the earth. We need to discern false movements and false teaching. Jesus isn't coming to water down Christianity and unite the faiths. Jesus is coming to turn over the tables and clean the House of God. For real. Jesus gets a pure and spotless Bride by driving off the impurities...not by mixing everything together.
This is an offensive, but true, message. It will cost many relationships and even lives. Standing for this truth is what the generation we live in is all about.
Bringing justice and righteousness only in the name of Jesus...tarrying in united prayer until power comes from on high...fasting and praying for the encounter, so I can take the power into the city in acts of righteousness and justice completely loyal to the truth of Jesus' ownership...is the mark of the true Bride...always has been. This is what will restore the cities of the earth...only this.
Isaiah 58:2-12 Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God. ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’ “In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, And exploit all your laborers. Indeed you fast for strife and debate, And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, To make your voice heard on high.
Is it a fast that I have chosen, A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, And to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Would you call this a fast, And an acceptable day to the Lord ? “ Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am. ’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
