Wisdom

The Bible has very specific prophecies about the world leaders who will usher the earth into the time when Jesus returns. There is a prophesied "last week" of time that will see the kingdom of heaven emerge and satan's grip on earth destroyed. This is the most intense time the earth will ever know. In fact, the second half of this time...called the "Great Tribulation"...is the most intense 1,260 days the earth will ever see:

Daniel 12:1-3 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

This time requires a response on behalf of God's people. This is called "wisdom". Jesus confirmed understanding of this time is for HIS people...all those living in covenant with God:

Matthew 24:15, 21-22 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),... For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

So wisdom is really required. The trouble is, most people won't choose wisdom...to start leading others into specific understanding of the hour... without a "bigger sign". Jesus is giving sign after sign in our time, just like he performed miracle after miracle in Israel during His earthly ministry...but for most people, there is always a bigger sign they need. The lame walking and blind seeing was never enough for the thousands and thousands who witnessed Jesus earthly ministry...they still couldn't accept that the Messiah was there. This is what Jesus said to them:

Matthew 12:38-40 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Adulterous...loving another more than God...in this case loving comfort more than God...loving the established power structure more than the one who came to redeem it...blinded the people Jesus was sent to, so they couldn't see what, and who, was plainly in front of them. Jesus taught His return would be the same way...as in the days of Noah:

Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Jesus will come like a thief for many...that means a loss for those unaware...but not for a lack of signs, but rather a lack of willingness to believe them. True lovers of Jesus...those who long for His return will know the hour they live in. They will know and see the subtle fulfillment of prophecy before them. Just like those truly following Jesus...his disciples saw so many signs and wonders they KNEW what was going on. Paul said there was a difference between those who really follow Jesus in their understanding:

I Thessalonians 5:1-5 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

You see, I am supposed to know what to look for, then enter in by faith when I see the patterns emerging. Faith to faith, watching and praying for understanding, not explaining away each sign as I see them. I am supposed to love His appearing...not look for reasons why it is probably not happening. This is what Peter and Jude said...to dismiss the signs, one by one, is to be a "scoffer" or a "mocker":

II Peter 3:3-4 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

You scoff when you have a different agenda...another desire...your own lust...than Jesus returning to earth asap. Jesus is intense in His desire to take His physical possession of the earth. His spouse...His Bride...is supposed to share that same intensity...we are supposed to be "one" in desire with our spouse. His inheritance is OUR inheritance, but Paul said other desires would get in the way...the house, the car, the retirement...the picture of OUR kids at least grown and tasting life before Jesus comes and...messes it up?! No! The Author of Life returning only makes life better! But many can't see it, because of worldly desire overriding an all-in desire to see the signs be fulfilled:

Jude 1:18-19 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

The MOCKERS...according to the Bible...will CAUSE division, not those actually declaring the signs. Jude said those resisting the signs are causing division. It all has to do with loyalty to Jesus and child-like faith. Jesus didn't write the word to confuse us, He gave the word to assure us of its simple fulfillment. We know what to watch for, and when we see it a little we are supposed to believe and start seeing more. If I am faithful with a little revelation I am given more. If I dismiss each little bit, what I am given is more blindness.

Matthew 13:11-12 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Everyone can have insight...it just requires wanting it...reaching for it...and then being faithful when you are given a little...not searching for ways to make the word symbolic and the happenings coincidence.

Right now, there is a "covenant with death" being made in Israel. It is plain in the news as Hamas, which is the Muslim Brotherhood, is partnering with the PLO and the United States, and Israel. Although they all claim to be at odds, it is clear they are all actually going in the same direction. Israel has chosen to make a very dangerous, and still secret, deal with these people who hate her.

Isaiah 28 lays out the dynamics on the ground in Israel that lead to this reality. It is really about her leaders being drunk with pride, luxury, and power that leads them to believe, despite all evidence to the contrary, that they are leading Israel well:

It starts out describing Israel's leaders, drunk with pride, luxury, and alcohol:

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valleys, To those who are overcome with wine!

This co-relates with numerous other prophecies regarding Israel's leaders at this time. One of which is found here:

Amos 4:1, 9-11 Hear this word, you cows of Bashan (the wives of the leaders), who are on the mountain of Samaria, Who oppress the poor, Who crush the needy, Who say to your husbands, “Bring wine, let us drink!” ... “I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, Your vineyards, Your fig trees, And your olive trees, The locust devoured them; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord . “I sent among you a plague after the manner of Egypt; Your young men I killed with a sword, Along with your captive horses; I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord . “I overthrew some of you, As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord .

Now consider these articles regarding the leaders who are secretly walking out the script of this "covenant with death":

At the same time locusts...a plague after Egypt, then were released into Israel at the same time:

Not only that, But God has overthrown a major leader in this ongoing process named Ehud Olmert...but this still hasn't woken up those of His friends still engaged in this man-based peace and luxurious corruption that is blinding the leaders of Israel:

The character of these people matching the numerous other signs is real! This calls for wisdom. Find out what else to look for and you will see much more!
