Prayer

Luke 21:34-36 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Simple, clear instruction:
1. Take heed to yourself. It is on you to agree with Jesus. Many, in arrogance, will disregard the warnings and completely miss the events leading up to the snare and the promised protection that could have been theirs.
2. Don't let your heart be dulled or distracted by the same things the world does and/or cares about. The world has organized it's values to exclude vibrancy for Jesus' plans as a main focus. You gotta break out of the world if you want to break in to heaven. Everyone gets what they want.
3. Don't simply accept that no one will know when Jesus is returning. It is a command that it not come unexpected to you. If you claim "he could come any minute" that means you aren't expecting the time He will come. Jesus was clear about the conditions, the events, the requirements, and the signs of His coming. That narrows it down quite a bit. He isn't coming at any time, or in any way, other than He described in detail. He isn't going to violate His own word!
II Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4. The vast majority of the earth will NOT know what the conditions, events, requirements, or signs of His coming are. Don't wait until everyone agrees "it is time" or He WILL come unexpectedly to YOU!
5. Jesus' return is a trap to anyone not expecting it. Reader beware.
6. Watching, connecting the news to the Word by the Spirit, is what will protect you from living dull and unexpectant.
7. There is much to do with the information you get by watching. If you aren't watching, you are NOT praying in agreement with Jesus. The praying always follows the watching, and this makes you ready. Remember Peter. He was expecting the wrong future and pulled out his sword, when he should have been ready for something completely different.
Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Many will say "I am praying"...but WHAT are you praying? How can you pray what Jesus is praying if you are not seeing what Jesus is seeing?
8. If you aren't praying what/when/and how Jesus is praying, you are choosing to forgo His promised protection. There is an escape possible, but it will get more and more narrow as truth becomes more and more clear. Agreeing with the truth will set you free...ignoring the truth will literally trap you in the false. There is an escape, but you must agree with it. This is the "key of David"...David made night and day prayer the foundation of all of His choices for leading in the sphere of authority God had given Him. this is how you guarantee the escape!

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
