Works are different than fruit

Works are different than fruit.

Fruit is the fruit of the leadership of the Spirit of Jesus: growing in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self control, and faithfulness. The aroma of the fruit of the Spirit all mixed together is humility, meekness, loyalty to the word of Jesus, and primarily HOLINESS.

That is different than works. Works are the things we do BECAUSE of what we believe.

You can do works apart from fruit. The Bible lays this out clearly:

Revelation 2:2“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3“and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

Matthew 23:5“But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. 6“They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7“greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’

You can do works apart from the leadership of Jesus. You can't grow the fruit of the Spirit apart from the miracle that happens when you yield to the Spirit.

The end time Babylon will do all the works the Bride will do, but apart from the fruit of the Spirit. This is actually the definition of lawlessness. The Antichrist and the end time Babylon will do the most good for the earth it has ever seen, and it will be an alternative to (anti) Jesus. Don't fall for it. Watch for the fruit, first in you, then in others, and you won't be deceived by good works.

Matthew 7:15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20“Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
