David's Tabernacle

Amos 9:11 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;

This is one of the most amazing prophecies of what will be happening on earth in the days leading up to Jesus' return. It is amazing not only because of what it means, but because it is actually happening right now!

David's Tabernacle, the physical tent of God's presence during David's reign as king of Israel, was a significant thing.

By design given to Him by God, David arranged for night and day worship of God by priests and musicians. The Bible says David paid 4,000 full time musicians, not to mention all the priests and other workers connected to the Tabernacle of David, to worship God 24/7. This was not David's idea. David told Solomon that God laid out the design when he passed on instructions to Solomon before giving him the kingdom.

The prophet Amos foretold that "in that day" referring to the Day of the Lord, or the time Jesus returns, the Tabernacle of David would be rebuilt, and that not only Jewish people would take part, but the "remnant of Edom" and "all the Gentiles who are called by My name.". This is describing a worldwide worship movement for the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob...this is describing a worldwide worship movement centered around the return of Jesus!

If you like to worship, this might sound fun and exciting, but it is much more significant than good music and big church gatherings! The restoration of David's Tabernacle on a global level is key to what Jesus is going to do to drive evil off the planet. The end time worship movement is actually an end-time prayer movement. Think praying to music. If you have ever tried to pray for more than 15 minutes, you know adding some music and praying through singing makes it possible to connect with God for longer periods of time. Music is key for any long-term praying. David's Tabernacle was about talking to God, connecting with Him...and so is the end-time worship movement!

In the same way that Moses was God's agent to release judgment on Egypt to rescue His people from slavery, God is going to use the end-time worshiping/praying church to release His judgment on the rebellious antichrist government the Bible describes as soon coming.

The bowls of judgment described in Revelation are filled with "the prayers of God's people" :

Revelation 8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

This is an amazing picture, but one that has been painted in the Bible for a thousand years before Jesus showed it to John. Look at this passage in Isaiah:

Isaiah 30:32 And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, Which the Lord lays on him, It will be with tambourines and harps; And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it.

This means Jesus executes His judgment to music on earth! In some translations of that passage, it says God's people will "keep time with drums and tambourines" as Jesus executes His judgment on earth.

Once you know what to look for, it is easy to find tons of passages about the connection of music and worshiping to Jesus' end time plan. Look in Isaiah first, but also in the Psalms. Two key phrases: "new song" (end time worship movement) and "in that day" (the return of Jesus) are what you are looking for.

This is the primary purpose of the reconstruction of the physical reconstruction of the end-time Tabernacle of David. There are many benefits that will come with it, but it is important to discern why this is being raised up in this time. Right now 24/7 houses of worship and prayer are being raised up all over the earth, including several (I think 5) in the city of Jerusalem alone.
