Faith
One of the hardest concepts regarding the 2nd coming of Jesus for me to wrap my mind around is this: it will always require faith to see His coming. Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Many assume there will be a moment when the return of Jesus will be obvious by the signs of His coming. This gives license to take a "wait and see" approach to the evolution of the signs. But a "wait and see" approach is a very bad idea. Waiting to engage in the return of Jesus....to participate in His plans to prepare the earth for His return... has never been an option for true disciples.
