Blood Moons
The four "blood moons" are a popular topic right now. Tuesday marks the beginning of four lunar eclipses that occur simultaneously with Jewish feast days for the next year and a half. Passover marks the first blood moon. What scientist are calling significant about the moon sequence is that all four will be visible from the United States. This makes them even more significant in my mind, considering what the Bible says about passover, peace, and the end time Babylon.
Passover marks the time when God spared the first born of the Israelites as He judged Egypt for refusing to agree with Him. All the firstborn of Egypt, man and beast alike, were lost, because of Pharaoh's defiance of God, but a much more important passover was coming. The Passover marked by God offering His own firstborn as a sacrifice for mankind in 32 AD.
The Bible prophesies a time when Israel, gathered back from the nations (which also happened under a series of blood moons falling on feast days in 1948) would impatiently put her trust in a man to make peace for her, rather than trust in the God who has given her both Passovers for her rescue. Jesus is the cornerstone...the Passover lamb from Israel's own family slain for all mankind. Rather than choose Him, Israel is foretold to choose a man who promises to be her God...promising to protect her for 7 years...to allow her to make peace with her natural human enemies that hate her. This covenant, promised by the Antichrist, a humanistic alternative to Jesus, is called a "covenant with death". David prophesied that through this intense and awful event, Israel would come into salvation. Daniel was told it would happen 2,520 days after the covenant was made. Here are the two key passages to understand why this is so significant:
First, David's original prophecy of what will result from this evil covenant:
Psalms 118:8-23 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes. All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. The right hand of the Lord is exalted; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord . The Lord has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the Lord . This is the gate of the Lord , Through which the righteous shall enter. I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord ’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.
This is how God describes Israel letting a man broker and keep peace for her with his own strength. The one who confirms the covenant is the Antichrist of Daniel 9:27:
Isaiah 28:14-19 Therefore hear the word of the Lord , you scornful men, Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge, And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.” Therefore thus says the Lord God : “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line, And righteousness the plummet; The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, And the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the overflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it. As often as it goes out it will take you; For morning by morning it will pass over, And by day and by night; It will be a terror just to understand the report.”
This is literally being fulfilled as I write these words. Hasty decisions in Israel...not trusting in the invisible God promised to rescue her...are pressing Israel into a corner of trusting the US to make peace for her. Make no mistake, we are strong-arming Israel, but she is supposed to be resisting us. This will not go well for either Israel or the USA. God is promised to judge the end-time Babylon for her mistreatment of Israel. God has given Israel into our hands ever since the first series of blood moons related to the USA and Israel in 1948. We are, for the first time since then, completely abusing her. This is the prophecy related to exactly what you can find in the news right now:
Isaiah 47:5-9 “Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms. I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand. You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever,’ So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them. “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’; But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.
Mark my words, like a flood, very hard times are coming to the USA. There is an answer, but the trouble is unavoidable. The Lady of Kingdoms has gotten lost in her own luxury. The only way to avoid the coming trouble, according to the Bible, is to "come out of her." That means coming out of the culture of her false comfort and into the House of Prayer. This is Joel 2. Turn to God now while there is time. That turning is a very specific preparation of night and day prayer where the whole community comes together to agree with God. It is time-sensitive. When the dam breaks, and it WILL break friends...soon...it will be much harder to turn. The pressure will increase to a point that men will make decisions in fear rather than reason. This is all prophesied. But there is a solution:
Revelation 18:2-4 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
This is US! The wine of our fornication exported across the globe. Merchants profiting from our excess consumption. Mass murder committed by our children monthly. Mass murder committed by our adults weekly. A completely medicated population, taking all sorts of antidepressants yet smothered in wealth. Sorcery given to our kids as entertainment. Demonized entertainers in our sporting events and our home television sets. Lust saturating our atmosphere...this place is a haunt. It must be judged. I want to be loyal to Jesus, not the American dream. It is time to come out. Coming out by believers is the only thing that will save unbelievers!
The blood moons that will start on Tuesday mark something massive. Will we wake up? On Tuesday, Mars will be closest to the earth and will also appear bright red over the USA, right next to the first blood moon that marks this new season of intensity for Israel and the USA. Mars is a picture of the Antichrist. Mars, the roman god of war, was second only to Jupiter...an unholy father and son. This son of jupiter was said to use war to make peace. This is from wikipedia's description of Mars:

Most of his festivals were held in March, the month named for him (Latin Martius), and in October, which began and ended the season for military campaigning and farming." (Interestingly, this is the general time period when the blood moons will be occurring...spring and fall March/April and September/October of 2014-2015).
"Although Ares was viewed primarily as a destructive and destabilizing force, Mars represented military power as a way to secure peace, and was a father (pater) of the Roman people."
This is a picture of the Antichrist, the man Israel will choose who militarily will promise to secure her peace for 2,520 days, but 1,260 days into the promise, he will take off his humanitarian mask and demand to be worshiped as god...
