Someday

Thinking it will be easier "someday" is a thief disguised as a comforter. This thief wants to steal "today" from you.

The kingdom is among us right now...the ability to overcome, the willingness of heaven to manifest, and the zeal of Jesus to enforce His victory globally is fully available right now IF we will respond as a people in the piece of earth assigned to us:

Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

This IS going to happen. It is simply a matter of time. We are supposed to be longing for it to happen ASAP:

Revelation 22:12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

It doesn't say they "will" say come. It says they SAY come...like now!

The disciples didn't just look for, but looked to HASTEN the day of the Lord, which means His return to earth as king of kings to a kingdom that was already in the process of being established:

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

II Peter 3:10-12 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

The earth is supposed to live all in on the plan that manifests the conditions of Jesus' return. If it does, great, if it doesn't, Jesus has a plan to compel it to, described in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The events described in Revelation are not the revelation of the antichrist! They are the Revelation of Jesus Christ!

The judgments...the seals, trumpets, and bowls... are the most loving way Jesus could use to get the earth to choose His return. He refuses to violate love, therefore, He refuses to violate free will. He won't make us hasten the day, but, He has promised to arrange the least intense circumstances possible in order to get us to choose one way or the other. This is called "tribulation."

You can enter into tribulation anytime. You can get in the mindset this morning, if you want to. Peter, James, John, and Paul entered in from the get go. This is what they said:

Romans 5:3-5 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

If you enter into "tribulation thinking" now, you get more of the glory and less of the pain, if you wait, you get more of the pain and less of the glory. This is simple obedience in agreement with leadership of the Father. Imagine God wanted us to clean our rooms to get ready for Jesus to come and stay with us. Just like any obedient child, the quicker you obey, the quicker the job gets done and the less severe the consequences for delaying the inevitable. That room is going to get clean...one way or the other!

Entering into a tribulation mindset now costs...people don't like it, you lose opportunities, you lose friends...but entering into a tribulation mindset later is much more costly. Right now, it is other people who love Jesus that are annoyed...they are the ones Jesus uses to kill the fear of man in me so I can FLOURISH in the time of real trouble! Later, it will be people that hate Jesus that won't just be annoyed, but will want to kill believers. You cannot kill what is already dead. The sooner you enter into tribulation, the easier it is to the end. Those who are wise and enter into tribulation thinking now will lead many to righteousness:

Daniel 12:1-3 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

Getting into the plan of God NOW is wisdom. That is what the disciples understood. That is why they declared "it is the last hour." They weren't wrong. This is the most BIBLICAL position to take and declare:

I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

John got the Book of Revelation AFTER he said these words. Jesus didn't correct John...no, He said this:

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
