Ezekiel 7:27 ‘The king will mourn, The prince will be clothed with desolation, And the hands of the common people will tremble. I will do to them according to their way, And according to what they deserve I will judge them; Then...
...they shall know that I am the Lord !’ ”
This is ALWAYS the point of judgment: that people resisting God's leadership would KNOW He is the only leader of the earth. God judges for love. Always.
God has authority in all the earth, over every drop of water, every particle of light, every molecule of oxygen we breath....simply by ownership. Because God spoke it into being from raw nothingness, He completely owns everything. No one has a claim on anything created. God is the only uncreated thing in existence...He owns it all. The earth MUST Come to terms with this reality.
The trouble for this generation is that there comes a time when this truth...God as first and last...author and finisher...must be made manifest on earth again. God made the earth for His pleasure. God + man + this earth = very good for God:
Genesis 1:31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
God really likes this planet. I don't mean He thinks good thoughts about it...No...I mean this place is like the favorite room in His house. He likes it here because He made it the way He likes it. Then He did the most astounding thing...for love He made us to share in His enjoyment of His favorite room.
Genesis 2:15-17 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
When man chose death, man chose to try to exist apart from God. We cannot live on the earth without God. It is impossible. God, in His vast mercy and patience has given man time to decide is we want life or death. What we are experiencing right now is less than life, but many have convinced themselves that they can have a good life now! Life happens in the glory of God's light. Right now we are stuck with the dim light of the sun that can only make trees produce once a year, but trees were meant to produce a harvest each month.
Revelation 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
That is nothing compared to the way a person can flourish in the light of Glory!
Life in the garden has ceased for love. Because God withdrew from the garden, the garden stopped living. His bright presence is deadly for defiled man, but it is that brightness that really causes the garden to grow right.
I Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
Because God loves man so much, He turned down the deadly brightness by stepping out of His favorite room so all men could chooses if they wanted life. Globally, for 6,000 years, toil has taken the place of abundance in the dim light of the sun. This is NOT life. We have never seen true life.
This sounds theoretical, but it isn't. Because God is so patient, it seems like forever we can play with the choice. But we cannot. The problem and the promise for THIS generation is: life IS going to restart with us present to see it. We live in a UNIQUE generation. God IS coming back into His favorite space, and when He does, this place and all in it are going to live again! But the brightness of His coming is going to destroy all darkness. This is great AND terrible!
For love, rather than destroy man and stay in His favorite space, God withdrew to give us time to decide: do we want to live with Him. He even paid the price himself for our rebellion to His ownership of His garden, but this is the truth, no can live at the time of His appearing if they choose to live outside of His leadership. All men must exist forever, but only those that choose life will live.
God has a plan to demonstrate what this rebellion to His leadership...this choice for death... looks like. The process God has picked happens "incrementally"...so that anyone with a heart for life will choose. This demonstration of the difference between life and death will happen over the course of 3.5 years...it is called the Revelation Judgments. The judgments are a Revelation of Jesus Christ. They will reveal, seal by seal, trumpet by trumpet, bowl by bowl, that He is the author and finisher...that life is not possible apart from His leadership and the glory of His brightness that makes life happen.
Right now, in this hour, God is raising up the worshipers. He is preparing them to live more and more through this time. You will either worship "with both hands" and walk into life, or rebel and incrementally taste death. This is the valley of decision:
Joel 3:9-12, 14 Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord . “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
Jehoshaphat worshiped His way through the war. This is what you have to settle on. This is what has begun and will climax in the next seven years:
Isaiah 24:1-23 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left. The new wine fails, the vine languishes, All the merry-hearted sigh. The mirth of the tambourine ceases, The noise of the jubilant ends, The joy of the harp ceases. They shall not drink wine with a song; Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it. The city of confusion is broken down; Every house is shut up, so that none may go in. There is a cry for wine in the streets, All joy is darkened, The mirth of the land is gone. In the city desolation is left, And the gate is stricken with destruction. When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people, It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing; For the majesty of the Lord They shall cry aloud from the sea. For 6,000 years, God has been patient, but now we find ourselves at the time when the decision must be made...life in glory, or death...attempting to exist apart from life. The intensity will only increase from here until His bright glorious appearing. If you want life, now is the time to grab it with both hands. He is life:
John 1:4-5 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord , when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.
