Fulfillment of Prophecy

The events occurring in Israel and the middle east right now are fulfilling numerous prophecies in the Bible. If you connect the Bible to the news, you will see major fulfillments all of creation has longed to see. However, it requires watching to see the Day of the Lord arrive. This is because, right up until the time Jesus splits the sky at the end of the tribulation, all the events will be mostly "explained away" by those not loving the return of Jesus.

It will actually require faith to see the the return of Jesus and enter in to the correct response. A response IS required. Noah had to build the boat, and the signs that are happening are INTENDED by God to drive His people to respond:

Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Right now, the intensity in the news is focused on Gaza. This is amazing, because there are very specific prophecies for two locations together: Gaza and Ashkelon. Gaza is associated with Philistines, also known as Palestinians, and Ashkelon is a jewish city a few miles away. It was prophesied by Zephaniah that these two cities would both be devastated in ADVANCE of more intense events. Watching Gaza and Ashkelon be caught up in the initial turmoil of the tribulation is a SIGN and a WONDER which marks a significant point in progress of the day of the Lord...also called the return of Jesus.

Listen to the prophecy Zephaniah gave:

Zephaniah 2:1-5 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O undesirable nation, Before the decree is issued, Or the day passes like chaff, Before the Lord ’s fierce anger comes upon you, Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you! Seek the Lord , all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of the Lord's anger. For Gaza shall be forsaken, And Ashkelon desolate; They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, And Ekron shall be uprooted. Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there shall be no inhabitant.”

It is important to note that the destruction of Gaza and Ashkelon have always been associated with the choices made by forerunners of the antichrist. According to Daniel 2 and 7, world rulers who considered themselves god's worthy of worship were "prototypes" of the antichrist...the final man who will demand worship as god and king. Those initial prototypes included Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, and Alexander the Great, among four others...called the seven mountains of the antichrist empire. Gaza has been trampled down by all of these empires in the past, and will be trampled down by the choices of the final antichrist in the years leading up to the final siege of Jerusalem. This is happening right now. But to help understand the significance of what we are seeing in the news, let's listen to Gil's Exposition of the Bible as it concerns Zephaniah's prophecy...this should be chilling to anyone who has been paying attention:

"Gaza was one of the five lordships of the Philistines; a strong and fortified place, as its name signifies; but should be demolished, stripped of its fortifications, and forsaken by its inhabitants. It was smitten by Pharaoh king of Egypt; and was laid waste by Nebuchadnezzar, (Jeremiah 47:1) and afterwards taken by Alexander the great; and, having gone through various changes, was in the times of the apostles called Gaza the desert, (Acts 8:26)."

Now consider this article from last week concerning what is currently happening in Gaza and Ashkelon:

We are witnessing the initial stages of the tribulation, as evidenced, among many other signs, by the trouble manifesting specifically in Gaza and the overflow into Ashkelon.

What this calls for is a seeking of holiness....righteousness and humility. THAT is why God released the prophecy in the first place. We live in the greatest hour ever...but a response IS required. Now is the time for the readying of the Bride. What clothes the end time Bride? Righteous acts...garments bought with holiness!

Revelation 19:6-9 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

If you don't respond, you aren't getting married. It is really simple:

Matthew 22:11-14 NKJV

“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

There is a specific plan to get ready. Do you know what it is? Are you watching? Jesus' return is not a spectator sport. There is MUCH to do and few actually teaching about it. I would love to help you understand any way I can. Feel free to message me if you don't know what I am talking about. Now is the hour to fill your vessel with oil. The long dark night is rushing towards us!
